With the current downward trend of the whole market and the intensification of competition,in order to obtain more customer resources,commercial banks have derived more and more business models and service managements to increase profits.The intermediate income and profit of wealth management business have gradually become an important source of bank' profits.Customers,whether it is basic customers or VIP customers,have financial needs,however,because of financial product variety,customers are overwhelmed when they make the choice,financial managers' professionalism will provide reasonable asset allocation,let the customers can choose suitably from a variety of financial products for their own money,at the same time bring profit to the bank,so financial managers play a crucial link between banks and customers.In order to meet customers' growing demand for financial management,banks should also strengthen the construction and cultivation of financial manager teams.Performance appraisal system is an important part of human resource management.The scientific appraisal system of banks can manage and motivate financial managers more efficiently,and at the same time can effectively improve the work efficiency and ability of financial managers,so that the retail business of banks can occupy a favorable market share.This paper takes the financial manager team of Bank M nanchang branch as the research object,analyzes the problems existing in the performance appraisal system of financial managers of banks,finds out the reasons,and readjusts the indicators and weights of the performance appraisal system based on the balanced scorecard theory.This paper first discusses the research background and significance of performance appraisal,references,research content,framework and research methods.Secondly,it introduces the theory of financial manager,performance appraisal system and balanced scorecard.Then,on the basis of introducing the basic situation and the financial manager team of the nanchang branch of Bank M,the detailed situation of the financial manager's performance assessment in the nanchang branch of Bank M was understood.The problems in the current performance assessment of the financial manager in the nanchang branch of Bank M were analyzed,which were mainly reflected in the following aspects: setting a single assessment index,the lack of assessment index assessment of employees' participation,lack of performance evaluation results feedbackmechanism.Aiming at these problems,this paper uses the balanced scorecard theory,through the financials,customers,internal processes,and learning to growth.Bank M nanchang branch can rebuild the financial manager team's performance appraisal,at the same time this paper discusses the implementation of the optimized evaluation system,it should pay attention to the issues and safeguard measures.Finally it summarizes and points out the existing deficiencies,and the need to further research is discussed.Nowadays,financial manager is the banks' "window",represents the image of the bank,stabilize the relationship between banks and customers.Regular customers about impression of bank is largely dependent on financial managers' professional services at ordinary times,so the bank should constantly perfect the financial manager's performance appraisal system,which can pick out the best managers for the banks,so as to provide professional service for the customers,attract the customers,and improve the competitiveness of the banks.
