Sugar is a multi-billion dollar industry here in China.Sugar processing has been the basis for the majority of food in China.China is also one of the biggest consumers of sugar compared to other countries,especially with the rapid increase of demand in rural areas.To overcome such a challenge,China's sugar processing companies will need to make many improvements.Aside from meeting higher consumer demand,companies have also faced numerous challenges such as low output,high production costs,inferior technology,and fierce market competition.This thesis will use Hubei JK Sugar Industry Co.Ltd.as its research subject to outline some of the possible solutions as to how to meet higher demand and increase efficiency to boost production.The thesis will take Hubei JK Sugar Industry Co.Ltd.as its primary research subject.It will explain how such a small scale company with low level processing output can survive in such unforgiving and competitive market environment.Simultaneously,it will also explore some of the available options as to how Hubei JK Sugar can improve its current business standing,achieving a bigger competitive advantage to reach a higher level of economic and social benefits.First,in order to get a better understanding of Hubei JK Sugar's research perspective,the thesis will analyze two business theories.The Stretegic Management Theory and Enterprise Competition Theory.It will also delve into case studies of related research and literature on sugar enterprises both here domestically and abroad.Second,with Hubei JK Sugar's current business model and level of production output,this thesis will use PEST,SWOT and other analytical tools to form a comprehensive summary of its own strengths and weaknesses in order to develop a better competitive strategy in its near future.Internally,the analysis will determine how much resorces the company is utilizing and how much competitive advantages the company has against other competitions in the market.Externally,it will determine what lucrative business opportunities and challenges the company will contend with.Matching these results by using a strategic matrix will yield a better understanding of how Hubei JK Sugar is equipped to deal with the company's subsequent improvement.Third,using the results collected from the research analysis,Hubei JK Sugar can finally implement the steps necessary for the company's objectives and competitive strategies.Finally,in order to ensure the success of correctly implementing the company's competitive strategy,the thesis will put forward the corresponding key points and measures from five different aspects.Include resources guaranteed by the company's strategy,improvement of the company's comprehensive management levels,optimization of the company's organizational structures,establishment of an effective emplyee incentive programs,strengthening the construction of company culture and creating a suitable corporate environment.These key points and measures will drastically reduce and even eliminate potential obstacles during the process of the company's strategy implementation.It will ensure the realization and achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
