Empirical Research On The Impact Of EMS Supply Chain Power On The Supplier Response Flexibility From The Triads Perspective

In the increasingly complex market competition environment,the competition between enterprises is changing from the competition between supply chains to the supply chain networks.In the supply chain network,the Triads relationship of"supplier-EMS-system integration customer" is more and more important for the improvement of the single enterprise operation efficiency and even the supply chain efficiency.In the new competitive environment of supply chain,the upstream supplier is an important external resources provider,and the supplier response is the key factor for the enterprise to improve its competitive advantage.Therefore,how to effectively improve the EMS supplier response flexibility is a hot issue in the current supply chain related research and management practice,which has theoretical research value and enterprise management practice guiding value.Based on the Triads relationship of "supplier-EMS-system integration customer"and combined with the literature exploration,questionnaire and empirical analysis,this study tries to discover the relationship and influence mechanism between EMS companies' power and supplier's response in Supplier Chain Triads,draws the following conclusions:Firstly,in the Triads relationship of "supplier-EMS-system integration customer",the EMS companies Legal power?Expert power?Recognition power and Information power has a positive effect on the supplier response flexibility,but the Reward power and Control power have significant negative effects on it.Secondly,in the Triads relationship of "supplier-EMS-system integration customer",the EMS companies Legal power?Expert power?Recognition power and Information power has a positive effect on the supply chain relation quality,but the Reward power and Control power have significant negative effects on it.Thirdly,supply chain relation quality has a positive regulatory effect on the supplier response,and it has a mediating effect on the relationship between EMS companies' power and supplier response.This study expands the theoretical system of supply chain power,supply chain relationship and supplier performance in the triads relationship environment.This study also explores the mediating effect of relationship quality on the relationship between EMS companies supply chain power and supplier response flexibility,which provides valuable reference for introducing more mediating or moderating variables and broadening the research perspective in the future.At the same time,it also provides experience basis for S company's upstream and downstream relationship management.
