Confronted with the increasing challenges of products globalization in the world of motor and auto industry and the individualization of the customers' demand, the motor and auto assembly enterprise are adjusting their strategies and the way of management. One of the important issues they are considering mostly in recent years is how to find their strategic suppliers so as to improve their core power and obtain competence in the furious competition market.Based on the fundamental concepts and theories of supply chain management, this paper analyzes the changes in the relationship between auto &motor suppliers and manufacturers under the environment of the supply chain management, with the emphasis on the necessity of the strategic suppliers and the strategic cooperation between themselves. The paper also focuses its systematic discussion on the selection and evaluation of strategic suppliers, presents the models for the selection and evaluation of different strategic suppliers, followed by a discussion on the concrete implementation procedure.In this paper, a two-stage method has been developed as the model for the selection of strategic suppliers. Firstly, according to the enterprise's own characteristic need, systemic method of NN data filtrate choosing has been applied to choose the suitable suppliers. Secondly, the fuzzy synthetically evaluation method has been applied to get the best supplier. In the end, this paper validates the feasibility of two-stage method by simulating best supplier selection in the case of Nayiji International Trading co.,Ltd.
