Evaluation And Analysis Of The Quality Of The Baotou Countryside Development

After China’s economic development has achieved remarkable results and people’s living standards have generally improved,the country has begun to tilt its policy towards rural development,with industry feeding back agriculture and cities supporting the countryside.Under the correct guidance of the government,the economic development momentum in rural areas is strong,and agricultural output is increasing year by year.The meaning of the quality of development in rural areas is not only this,but also the process of simultaneous development of quantity and quality,which is the simultaneous development of the improvement of farmers’living standards and the improvement of agricultural production efficiency.Because of the great difference of various conditions between rural areas,the development models of rural areas are also different.In his report to the Nineteenth National Congress,Comrade Xi Jinping pointed out that the key factors to improve the quality of rural development are agricultural production and rural development.Economic and social development in rural areas is also an important indicator of rural development.All of the above are important aspects of the quality of rural development.Taking nine banner counties of Baotou City as examples,the author makes a longitudinal comparison on the time axis and conducts a horizontal study among regions,which provides a new direction for the theoretical study of the development quality of rural areas and makes contributions to the government’s effective policy warning.Starting from the current situation of rural development,the author comprehensively expounds the meaning of rural development quality,and systematically constructs the evaluation index system of rural development qualityfromfour aspects:regional economic development level,rural agricultural production level,regional social development level and farmers’living standard.Selecting the data of 10 years’agricultural development in Baotou City for longitudinal analysis,it is concluded that the quality of rural development in Baotou City is increasing year by year.The data of nine counties in Baotou City are compared horizontally.The conclusion is that there exists unbalanced regional development in the quality of rural development in Baotou City.The quality of rural development in Dalhan Maoming’an Union Banner,QingShan District,KunDulun District and DongHe District,which are close to the main urban area of Baotou City,is higher than that in other counties.The amount is low.Through the analysis of the current situation,the factors affecting the quality of rural development in Baotou City are found out,which can provide reference for the future development of rural areas in Baotou City.
