| Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central government in the central and western regions of China.It is a national central city,and it is located in the strategic node position of the "Y" channel of the Silk Road Economic Belt,China Indochina Peninsula Economic Corridor and the Yangtze River economic belt.The decision made by the sixth meeting of the central finance and Economics Commission to promote the construction of the two city economic circle in Chengdu and Chongqing has also promoted the development of Chongqing to a new starting point.However,the natural conditions,resource endowments and economic basis of different regions in Chongqing are quite different.In general,the main urban area,the Three Gorges Reservoir town group in Northeast Chongqing and the Wuling mountain town group in Southeast Chongqing have been formed.More detailed analysis can reach 38 districts and counties.The economic development of each district and county in Chongqing is "strong in the West and weak in the East",and the imbalance of economic development between districts and counties is obvious.Although the imbalance of regional economic development is common,and the current situation of unbalanced regional economic structure is not easy to change in a short period of time,the long-term existence and excessive expansion of regional economic gap will not be conducive to the sustainable development of regional economy.With the development of regional economics and spatial econometrics,more and more researchers pay attention to the interaction between regions.The problem of unbalanced and uncoordinated economic development among regions needs to be solved by economic growth.In the process of regional economic development,the districts and counties divided by administrative divisions do not develop independently as independent individuals,but develop economic ties with neighboring regions through logistics,capital flow and information flow.The growth of regional economy is not only related to local labor and capital This,human capital,industrial structure development and other factors are related,and there is a spatial correlation with the economic growth of the surrounding areas.The spatial correlation and spatial spillover effect between regions play an important role in regional economic growth.When the overall economic development level of Chongqing continues to improve,how to give full play to the radiation leading role of economic core areas and counties,reduce regional economic differences and promote the coordinated development of regional economy has become a problem to be solved.In order to better understand the economic growth relationship between districts and counties in Chongqing,promote the development driven by the economic association between districts and counties,and enhance the level of regional linkage development and coordinated development,this paper studies the spatial correlation and spillover effect of economic growth in districts and counties in Chongqing,and introduces the economic growth theory,the theory of uneven growth and the theory of spatial interaction to the causes of economic spillover effect among regions The mechanism of spillover effect is analyzed theoretically,and the current situation of Chongqing's economic and social development is described from three aspects of Chongqing as a whole,three regions of Chongqing and Chongqing's districts and counties.Based on the spatial weight matrix of geographical distance,the spatial correlation degree of each district's economy is measured by the per capita GDP value of each district and county,and the panel model is constructed by using the data of Chongqing's districts and counties from 2009 to 2018 The spatial autoregressive model,spatial error model and spatial Dubin model are used to analyze the spatial spillover effect of Chongqing's economy.The results show that:(1)the overall development level of Chongqing is relatively high,but the per capita economic development level needs to be further improved.The economic development of each district and county in Chongqing is not balanced,and there exists the phenomenon of spatial agglomeration and diffusion of economy in the spatial distribution pattern.(2)Based on the measurement of moran'i index of geographical distance spatial weight matrix,it is found that although the global moran'i index of Chongqing is fluctuating,it shows an upward trend.The global spatial autocorrelation has been significant all the time,and the spatial autocorrelation of regional economic development in Chongqing is generally increasing.The results of moran'i scatter map show that the main urban areas are mainly high-high agglomeration,while the northeast and Southeast Areas of Chongqing are mainly low-low agglomeration.(3)The spatial spillover effect of Chongqing economic growth has been verified and significant.Fixed asset investment,labor population and industrial structure also have a positive impact on regional economic growth in various spatial econometric models,but the degree of financial development mostly shows inhibition on regional economic growth.Based on the research conclusion,the corresponding policy recommendations proposed in this paper include:(1)promoting fixed asset investment,guiding the steady growth of private investment,making up the short board of infrastructure,and improving regional infrastructure construction.(2)We will guide the return of regional labor,improve the working ability and quality of workers,promote employment and entrepreneurship services for regional labor,and stabilize employment for all groups through multiple channels.(3)Stabilize industry and strengthen service industry,cultivate and develop new industries and new formats,accelerate regional industrial upgrading,and radiate new momentum of economic growth.(4)We will deepen supply side structural reform,improve the market-oriented management mechanism,optimize the basis of the open environment,and build a highland for inland opening and innovation.(5)We should strengthen the spatial connection of regional economy,link the development of infrastructure and industrial layout,gather talents,funds and entrepreneurial elements,and promote the coordinated development of regional economy. |
