Corporate Social Responsibility?Corporate Culture And Financial Performance

Since the 19 th national congress,"high quality development","ecological civilization construction" and "innovation driven" have become the voice of the times.China's economy is developing rapidly,and its GDP has grown to the second place in the world.However,problems such as food hygiene,environmental pollution and personal safety occur from time to time.In 2017,an e-commerce snack mold exceeded the standard.In 2018,Changsheng Bio-technology Co.,Ltd produced rabies vaccine illegally.In 2019,a sanitary product company produced poor quality diapers.From this point of view,corporate social responsibility(CSR)has not been effectively implemented,the main reason is the lack of awareness and ability to implement CSR.In 2016,President Xi Jinping pointed out that the most competitive and viable enterprises should be CSR enterprises.CSR is an important indicator to measure the corporate image,and financial performance is a key indicator that enterprises attach importance to.At the same time,many studies show that corporate culture is indispensable in the production and operation of enterprises,so it is very important to study the relationship among them.Through the research,we can see whether the corporate culture that emphasizes CSR will play a positive role in the impact of CSR on financial performance,which will become the key to whether the enterprise is willing to fulfill CSR and improve the construction of corporate culture.This paper uses the method of theoretical and empirical research analysis.In this study,A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2018 are selected as research samples,with a total of 95064 data values.Corporate culture data comes from manual data collection,mainly from the company's annual report,CSR report,internal control report,etc.,and CSR and financial performance data comes from CSMAR and Sina Financial stock website.Data collection and analysis mainly use Excel and Eviews 8.0 software.The results show that CSR has a significant positive relationship with financial performance,corporate culture has a significant positive relationship with financial performance,and corporate culture plays an enhanced role in the impact of CSR on financial performance.Compared with the developed areas,the less developed areas actively implement CSR and improve corporate culture construction will have a more significant impact on financial performance.Through the research of this paper,it is helpful to enhance the consciousness and executive power of Chinese enterprises to perform CSR,to improve the construction of corporate culture,and to provide empirical evidence for the government legislation and enterprise management.
