A Study On Efficiency And Determinants Of China's Wooden Furniture Products Export Along The Belt And Road

In the world,China is a big country that produces and exports wooden furniture.Since 2005,China has been the world's largest exporter of wooden furniture.The United States has always been the largest country of China's wooden furniture exports,and the sino-us trade war has not directly affected China's furniture exports,accounting for 40% of China's total wooden furniture exports in 2018.However,the export market is too concentrated,too much dependence on the U.S.market,will increase the risk of business,which is harmful to China's wooden furniture exports.In addition,China has been pushing ahead with the construction of "Belt and Road",and as a result,China's trade with the countries along the route has become increasingly close.The over-concentration of export markets has been largely ameliorated through furniture trade with the countries along the routes.The countries along the "Belt and Road" have become the second largest market for Chinese wooden furniture exports,driven by the construction of the "Belt and Road",but the growth rate of the scale of Chinese wooden furniture exports in the countries along the Belt and Road has been negative in the past two years,the challenge is greater.The purpose of this paper is to discuss and analyze the export situation of China's wooden furniture to the countries along the Belt and Road,and then to further analyze the export frontier of China's wooden furniture,this paper analyzes the main factors that influence the export of wooden furniture in the countries along the "Belt and Road",and then puts forward some policy suggestions to promote the export of wooden furniture in the countries along the Belt and Road.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on trade potential,trade efficiency,institutional factors and Chinese wooden furniture export.Then,using descriptive analysis method,the paper analyzes in detail the export scale,growth rate,market distribution,commodity structure and trade mode of China's wooden furniture,the conclusion shows that the export scale of wooden furniture in China is large and has been increasing,but the growth rate has been decreasing in the past five years,the export market concentration of wooden furniture is high,the export market is overdependent on a few developed countries and regions,and the added value of products is low,structural imbalance.Then,on the basis of the theoretical analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by the countries along the "Belt and Road" of China's wood furniture export and the factors affecting the countries along the "Belt and Road" of China's Wood Furniture Export,a time-varying stochastic frontier gravity model is constructed,and then the export situation of Chinese wooden furniture is analyzed by this model,and the main influencing factors of Chinese wooden furniture export "Belt and Road" are summarized,finally,the paper constructs the trade non-efficiency model to further study the factors that affect the trade efficiency,and makes an in-depth study on the institutional factors.Finally,according to the empirical results,policy recommendations are made.
