Research On The Impact Of Safety Leadership On Safety Citizenship Behavior Of Construction Workers In Construction Project

With the rapid development of China's economy,people's demand for living is improving continually,urban and rural infrastructure construction is promoted steadily,and the construction industry is developing rapidly.On the one hand,people's requirements for modern architecture are not only economic and practical,but also attach importance to the beautiful shape and complete functions.Complex architectural structures bring great challenges to the construction process.On the other hand,the modern construction projects are large scale,long cycle,pursuing the progress and the environment is complex,the safety accidents occur from time to time.Safety accidents often cause personal and property losses and bring negative impacts to the projects,so the safety of construction projects is very important.Safety citizenship behavior is an ideal way to improve the safety condition in the construction projects.To the project managers,how to ensure project safety,improve workers' safety consciousness and safety citizenship behavior is a major concern.The improvement of safety leadership of project managers will have a certain impact on the safety consciousness of construction workers,which can lead to safety citizenship behavior.With the purpose of providing guidance and suggestions for the project managers,this paper explores the relationship between safety leadership,workers' safety consciousness and safety citizenship behavior in the construction projects from the perspective of empirical research.First of all,to clarify the research idea,the existing research results and related literature are reviewed.Secondly,in combination with the practical situation of the construction projects,this paper defines the connotation,influencing factors and mechanism between safety leadership,safety consciousness and safety citizenship behavior.The hypothesis model is constructed based on the theoretical analysis results.Then,a few modifications were made to the existing mature scales and questionnaires were issued to the workers in the construction projects.SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 22.0 were used to analyze the data and verify the proposed hypothesis.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Safety leadership has a positive impact on the workers' safety citizenship behavior in construction projects;(2)Safety leadership has a positive impact on workers' safety consciousness in construction projects;(3)Construction workers' safety consciousness has a positive impact on their safety citizenship behavior;(4)Workers' safety consciousness plays a partial mediating role in the process of safety leadership influencing workers' safety citizenship behavior in the construction projects.
