It is an important way for manufacturer to carry out servitization to comply with the industrial transformation and enhance the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry.However,there are many risks and challenges in the process of servitization.Failure is a kind of heterogeneous resources.Learning the experience related to failure and summarizing the knowledge related to failure can help manufacturer to improve their competitive advantage and successfully realize servitization.In the field of strategic management,mismatching of strategy and resources is the main cause of enterprise failure.At present,the degree of servitization is uneven and the servitization category is different.If lacking matching consciousness of enterprise conditions and failure experience,will lead to the waste of resources.It is necessary to explore the matching relationship between the failure-based learning mode and servitization and the effect of the matching of the two in promoting competitive advantage.Enterprise agility is a kind of enterprise competitive advantage,enterprise performance is the embodiment of enterprise competitive advantage.This study takes China's manufacturer as the research object,and discusses the difference of the influence of failure-based learning mode and servitization matching on their competitive advantages from the two dimensions of the degree of servitization and servitization category,so as to provide suggestions for the smooth implementation of servitization transformation of Chinese manufacturer.Based on the existing research,this thesis explores the matching relationship between failure-based learning mode and servitization from two aspects,constructs two models of matching relationship between failure-based learning mode and the degree of servitization,and matching relationship between failure-based learning mode and servitization category,and verifies and analyzes the two models respectively through two questionnaires and data collection:(1)Whether different degrees of servitization of manufacturer have different effects on enterprise performance.(2)Whether the matching of different failure-based learning mode and the degree of servitization has different influence on enterprise performance.(3)Whether different servitization categories of manufacturer have different effects on enterprise agility.(4)Whether the matching of different failure-based learning mode and servitization category has different influence on enterprise agility.In this thesis,the matching relationship between failure-based learning mode and servitization is obtained by constructing the matching model between failure-based learning mode and servitization,and verifying the conceptual model with the empirical research method.The research finds that :(1)different levels of servitization have different effects on enterprise performance,the performance of “paradoxical” manufacturers and comprehensive manufacturers is higher than that of explorative manufacturers.(2)explorative manufacturers match external failure-based learning,comprehensive manufacturers match internal failure-based learning.(3)different servitization category have different influence on the enterprises agility,and the enterprises agility with both servitization categories is the highest.(4)manufacturers which two categories servitization attached equally importance match internal failing-based learning mode,and manufacturers which two servitization categories is undeveloped match external failing-based learning mode.The thesis finds the internal theoretical connection between the failure-based learning mode and servitization,further clarifies the matching relationship between the different degrees and servitization categories and the adoption of different failure-based learning modes,and expands the related research on servitization and failure-based learning.The results provide a reference for manufacturer to enhance their competitive advantages and grasp the development context in a complex and dynamic environment.
