The booming sharing economy has become a new trend of the age,with the rapid development of mobile internet,internet of things,big data and other technologies,together with the global economic downturn,the surplus of resources and other comprehensive factors.Carsharing plays an important role in the development of new energy automobile industry,the transformation of traditional automobile enterprises and the landing of autonomous driving scene.At the same time,it also has a positive influence on social transportation and environment issues with high social attention and industry expectation.The dynamic and complex environment reflects the current global competition in the market,especially in the high-tech industry.In the dynamic complexity environment,enterprises are always in a state of rapid change and imbalance.Only when choosing appropriate competition strategies based on the realistic environment can enterprises achieve long-term survival and development.In September 2016,NR Group established its subsidiary RCD to operate QK carsharing platform formally.Although QK covered 19 cities and owned nearly 1000 new energy vehicles at the end of 2018,its profit model was very difficult to make ends meet and develop continuously.Capital strength cannot withstand the relevant financial pressure for a long time.The most urgent problem to be solved was how to adapt to the rapid change of the competitive environment and realize the continuous business model innovation.This paper presents the management dilemma in the development of QK carsharing platform in the form of cases.Aiming at the problem that QK is difficult to make profits under the Internet business model of ‘finance-expansion-finance-re-expansion',based on sustainable competitive advantage and business model theory,in combination with the characteristics of QK as a web starup,this paper tailors the solutions of business model innovation based on sustainable competitive advantage to QK.The regional scale development model centered on operational efficiency breaks the shackles of the original business model to improve the long-term profitability of QK by improving its long-term competitive advantages.At the same time,this research provides a reference basis of strategic decision for other enterprises,especially new ones,to constantly innovate business models,cultivate sustainable competitive advantage and improve long-term profitability.
