Research On The Construction Level Of Innovative Provinces In Six Provinces Of Central China Based On Entropy Method

With China's social and economic development entering a new normal period,the industrial structure problems and weak R&D and innovation ability of six provinces in China have become more prominent.The fundamental way to enhance the core competitiveness of provinces is to build innovative provinces.Most of the six central provinces have been building innovative provinces for several years.Based on this,this paper evaluates the level of the construction of innovative provinces in the six central provinces by using the method of entropy,and deepens the problems and shortcomings in the research process.This paper studies the construction level of innovative provinces in six provinces of central China.Firstly,it compares the research results at home and abroad,and finds the deficiencies in the construction of innovative provinces in China.Then it elaborates the theoretical basis involved in this research.On the basis of relevant theories and previous studies,according to the relevant index construction principles and referring to the existing literature research,it finally constructs the index system which conforms to the six provinces in the central region.It has three first-level indicators from three aspects: innovation environment,innovation input and innovation output.Seven second-level indicators and 34 third-level indicators have constructed an evaluation index system for the construction of innovative provinces in six central provinces.Then using the method of entropy to compare the construction level of innovation-oriented provinces among the provinces in the central region,we get the problems and shortcomings in the innovation construction of the six provinces in the central region.Finally,we put forward the relevant countermeasures and suggestions on the analysis results.The research shows that there are some shortcomings in the innovation development level of each province in the central region in different indicators.For example,Anhui Province ranked No.1 in the innovation construction level has insufficient investment in R&D expenditure,and Industrial Enterprises above the scale need to increase investment in R&D funds and innovative achievements in high-tech industries.The degree of industrialization and efficiency needs to be improved.In view of the specific problems existing in each province,this paper further puts forward corresponding policy recommendations,with a view to providing guidance and reference for the construction and development of innovative provinces in six central provinces.
