Research On The Order Business Process Reengineering Of A Company

With the constant deepening of economic globalization,there are many changes in the modes of corporate competition.Facing the ever-changing and unpredictable market environment as well as the increasing horizontal competition in the industry,companies are forced to optimize their internal management so as to enhance their market competitive power.The paper takes company A as its object of study,and mainly focuses on corporate order business process under the MTO mode,and then based on some researches on relevant issues that have been conducted by some other scholars so far,and on the company A's actual research data as well,it tries to make a reconstruction of order business process.The paper,by using the ASME method and the Fishbone Diagram method,makes an analysis of the order handling process,order implementation process as well as order delivery process,with a view of such production features of the company A as small batch production and large numbers of batches under the mode of order production.And furthermore,it points out such problems as difficulty in information collection,improper process design and so on regarding the order business process.And then based on these present problems as well as the goals the company A has set for the reconstruction of order business process,the paper analyzes and compares the standard ERP business process of some outstanding enterprises;at the same time,it presents some proposal for the reconstruction of order business process for the company A under the context of ERP environment,by using the ECRS method.The new order business process after the reconstruction has fewer steps than the old one,with 20 steps having been removed,the order process cycle being shortened from 43.3 hours to 13.1 hours,order process management efficiency going up by 70%;at the same time,the company's efficiency in process management has been greatly improved and the cycle time has been drastically shortened.Through the reengineering of the company A's order business process,we can see that an effective implementation of ERP and BPR is able to improve corporate management level as well as corporate management efficiency.
