Research On Development Of China Customs Supervision Function

With the development of economic globalization and the increasing demand for trade facilitation,China customs is facing with a more severe regulatory situation,which is urgent to strengthen the customs supervision function.Since 18 th CPC National Congress,it's more proactive in China to implement open policy.As the basic function of the customs,supervision function has to be rearranged and positioned.Innovating it in the customs supervision method,mode,and long-term development,which will make it cannot only adapt to the economic development with Chinese characteristics,also can face the challenges of the international market.How to adapt to the demand of the global market,taking Nanjing Customs as an example: First of all,to promote the customs clearance regulation mechanism reform;Second,to reduce the impact of the absence of relevant laws and regulations on regulatory functions;Then,to strengthen trade facilitation and safety supervision of overall consideration.To meet the increase of trade facilitation and strengthen the function of the customs supervision,is the urgent problem under the background of a new era in China.Because,only to take the initiative to adapt to the new situation of international and domestic changes,we can maintain the stable development of China's import and export trade and economy.Customs supervision has a direct impact on international trade,but the policy effectiveness of trade facilitation requires the cooperation between customs and other port authorities,a transparent clearance procedure,and the cooperation with private sector.In the face of the New round of Reforms and Opening-up,new economic trends,new forms of trade,China Customs also need to strengthen its regulatory functions in the field of customs clearance,processing trade,cross-border e-commerce and trade in services.
