Research On The Investment Strategy And Effect Of Tencent's Ecosystem Construction

With the rapid development of the Internet,the traditional industry and the new technology of the Internet are combined,and the industrial boundary is increasingly blurred.At the same time,the needs of consumers are more and more personalized and differentiated.In this context,the living environment of Internet enterprises is getting worse and worse,and it is difficult to cope with the increasingly uncertain market environment and the increasingly differentiated demands of consumers.Ecosphere competition has become a new competitive strategy for enterprises.The mutually beneficial ecosphere determines the future development space.Building ecosphere to realize the "users" who gather by burning money in the early stage has become an important magic weapon for Internet giants to win.The construction of ecosystem is also becoming a trend for enterprises to develop forward.Through case study,this paper selects Tencent,one of the three Internet giants in China,as the research object,and takes its ecosystem construction as the starting point,analyzes its investment strategy of constructing ecosystem from three aspects of investment scale,investment mode and investment direction,and explores the relationship between investment strategy and ecosystem construction.Finally,the paper evaluates the investment strategy through the synergy effect of the ecosystem on Tencent.Through the in-depth study of Tencent case system,this paper finds that the construction path of ecosphere is formed by stimulating the characteristics of ecosphere through different investment strategies.With the expansion of investment,Tencent's investment risk is increasing.But in the long run,with the synergy between ecosphere and Tencent gradually reflected,investment in ecosphere is beneficial to the development of enterprises.Based on the research of Tencent ecosystem,this paper puts forward enlightenment to Internet enterprises and traditional enterprises: single form enterprises are difficult to cope with the changes of the external environment,and enterprises should take the construction of ecosystem as a long-term development strategy.However,enterprises should not blindly develop the ecosystem,but build the ecosystem around the core competence to realize the coordination with the ecosystem.At the same time,in the long-term development of the ecosystem,enterprises should expand the ecosystem reasonably to avoid investment risks.Through the research of Tencent's investment strategy in ecosphere,this paper provides a theoretical expansion for the relevant research between the construction of ecosphere and investment strategy,and also provides a space for Internet enterprises and even traditional enterprises to think and learn from in practice.
