Study On The Export Quality Of Manufacturing Industry From The Perspective Of Industrial Agglomeration

China has achieved rapid development of international trade for its“demographic divided"and huge market advantages since the accession to the World Trade Organization(WTO).Its total exports of goods rose from US $266.098 billion in 2001 to US $2,486.682 billion in 2018,an increase of nearly 10 times.China is a big trading country from the perspective of export scale,but it is still behind developed country in the aspect of export technology complexity and the position of Global Value Chin."Big but not strong" is currently a typical feature of Chinese trade.In recent years,the international situation and domestic environment have undergone great changes,increasing the pressure of transformation of Chinese export trade.China needs to cultivate new competitive advantages as soon as possible,and realize the transformation from factor driven to innovation driven,from cost price advantage to product quality advantage.As a modern industrial development mode,industrial agglomeration can help enterprises to improve total factor productivity,promote regional economic growth and enhance international competitiveness of industry.With the development of China's economy,the geographical agglomeration of manufacturing industry is becoming increasingly obvious,and the industrial clusters and industrial parks in various regions are booming.It is of great theoretical and practical significance in the new situation to clarify the relationship between manufacturing agglomeration and export product quality.First of all,this paper combs the relevant literature from the two aspects of export product quality and industrial agglomeration,focusing on the research in the cross field of the two,and summarizes the research results of measurement methods and influencing factors of export product quality,industrial agglomeration and enterprise export,international competitiveness of industry,and the impact of industrial agglomeration on export product quality.Along with the development of theory,this paper combs the theory of export product quality in the field of international trade.On the basis of theoretical analysis and literature research,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of industrial agglomeration on the quality of export products from the perspective of agglomeration effect and crowding effect.Then,this paper makes a quantitative analysis on the export product quality and industrial agglomeration of Hebei Province,and makes an empirical study on the relationship between them.Based on the data of manufacturing industry in Hebei Province from 2005 to 2014,this paper makes a brief analysis of the export trade status and industrial agglomeration level of manufacturing industry in Hebei Province.In this paper,the price index decomposition method is used to measure the quality of export products of manufacturing industry in Hebei Province from 2006 to 2014.Through the construction of panel model,empirical analysis of the relationship between industrial agglomeration and the quality of export products,and further use the intermediary effect model to test the two intermediary variables of total factor productivity and R&D investment efficiency.Based on the measurement of the level of manufacturing agglomeration and the quality of export products in Hebei Province,this paper finds that the current level of manufacturing agglomeration in Hebei Province is relatively low,and the quality of export products has an upward trend.Panel regression results show that there is a negative correlation between manufacturing agglomeration and export product quality,while there is a positive correlation between human capital level,industry factor intensity and R&D intensity and export product quality.To a certain extent,the gathering of manufacturing industry in Hebei Province restrains the improvement of total factor productivity,and further hinders the improvement of the quality of export products.In view of this,this paper puts forward suggestion from the aspects of industrial chain construction,talent cultivation and introduction,brand construction,innovation environment construction,etc.
