Since the 1990 s,the main direction of international economic development has gradually moved towards economic integration.The development trend of economic model has not only brought opportunities to many enterprises,but also quite a few challenges.The continuous changes in market demand make enterprises have problems such as low accuracy of raw material demand forecast and sluggish inventory.How to improve the above problems and effectively control the raw material inventory management of enterprises is a problem that many enterprises need to solve.This paper takes D company,which produces notebook computers,as an example to explore the improvement strategy of raw material inventory management in D company.Based on the introduction of the background of inventory management and the research status at home and abroad,the main research contents and methods of this paper are put forward.Based on the theoretical knowledge of inventory management,supplier inventory management,joint inventory management and collaborative supply chain inventory management,this paper puts forward the current situation and existing problems of raw material inventory management in company D.In the introduction of the current situation and problems of D company's raw material inventory management,this paper first introduces the general situation of D company,and puts forward the current situation of D company's raw material inventory management from the aspects of product operation,logistics operation,inventory management and inventory turnover,and points out the problems such as low accuracy of demand forecast,long inventory turnover cycle,sluggish inventory and untimely arrival of raw materials,and points out the problems Internal and external causes.By improving the prediction method and combining with VMI strategy,this paper puts forward the improvement strategy of supplier inventory management,designs the improvement scheme,builds the information system,optimizes the operation process,selects suppliers and builds the corresponding inventory management model,and formulates the framework agreement.Finally,from the aspects of strengthening the cognition of inventory management concept,improving the inventory management system,controlling safety inventory,strengthening supplier management and strengthening employee management,the paper puts forward the guarantee measures for the improvement strategy of D company's raw material inventory management,and gives the expected effect of the improvement strategy.The research of this paper puts forward a feasible plan for D company to improve the existing problems of the current raw material inventory management,which is expected to reduce the days of D company's raw material inventory turnover,improve the on-time arrival rate,gradually increase the proportion of VMI suppliers,improve the process,and provide a reference solution for other enterprises.
