The Influence Of Foreign Trade Of New And High-tech Products On The Adjustment Of Regional Industrial Structure

As a strategic emerging industry,high-tech industry plays an increasingly important role in international trade.In the 21 st century,science and technology are developing rapidly due to the integration of the world economy and informatization,and the research based on science and technology is in the ascendant,which makes the industrial research and development and the development of science and technology develop rapidly.The competition of research and development across technology and national boundaries inevitably affects the world market competition pattern.As the basic form of trade,high-tech products have a strong momentum of development.To a certain extent,its development level can reflect the scientific and technological strength of a country or a region,so it has also become the focus of countries and regions to improve their competitiveness.On the other hand,China's economy has changed from a stage of high-speed growth to a stage of high-quality development,and it is in a critical period of transformation of development mode,optimization of industrial structure and transformation of growth power.In this process,the use of various advanced technologies to support the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries and accelerate the development of modern service industry has become an important goal of the development of various regions.Based on the panel data of China's regional level,this paper empirically studies whether the foreign trade of high-tech products effectively promotes the adjustment of regional industrial structure,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the optimization of regional industrial structure according to the empirical results.Based on the relevant concepts and literature,this paper analyzes the current situation of China's foreign trade of high-tech products,and then analyzes the mechanism of China's import and export of high-tech products on the adjustment of regional industrial structure from different perspectives.Then,based on the panel data of foreign trade of high-tech products in 30 provinces and cities of China from 2004 to 2018,this paper constructs a model of the relationship between the import and export of high-tech products and the adjustment of industrial structure,and makes an empirical study by using the maximum likelihood estimation method.The results show that the foreign trade of high-tech products promotes the optimization of regional industrial structure.At the same time,this paper also conducts a group sample empirical study,the results show that there are differences between regions,and the relationship between foreign trade of high-tech products and regional industrial structure adjustment is from strong to weak respectively in the East,the middle,the West and the northeast.Finally,the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from two aspects: strengthening the import trade of high-tech products and promoting the export trade of high-tech products.
