In the new era of "innovation as the first driving force of development",open innovation has become an important way for enterprises to realize the transformation of innovation paradigm,and the perspective of open innovation has become an important perspective of cross-border integration of "Hotel +".As a typical service enterprise,the hotel has gradually stepped into the “leading role” from the "supporting role" in the past,making important contributions to the growth of national economy.However,the hotel industry is faced with the problems that need to be solved urgently,such as the lack of innovation power and backward ways.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the open innovation mode and implementation mechanism of the hotel group.The purpose of this paper is to explore the open innovation mode and its implementation mechanism in the new era,and analyze the open innovation practice of Atour hotel group and Lvyue hotel group,which are two new growing hotel groups in China,through case study.In this paper,through in-depth interviews with 28 managers and employees of the two hotel groups,as well as data coding analysis combined with other aspects of the data,using inductive logic to explore the two hotel groups open innovation mode and its implementation mechanism.Specifically,first of all,this paper finds that there are two typical modes of open innovation of hotel enterprises with the core elements of physical space and service experience: one is user-oriented multi industry divergent open innovation,the other is technology-oriented horizontal open innovation of tourism industry chain.There are significant differences between the two models in the aspects of creative source,knowledge flow,user participation,collaboration,organizational learning and openness.Secondly,on this basis,this paper further discovers the influencing factors and implementation mechanism of open innovation in hotels.Based on the metaphor of the internal operating parts system of the automobile,this paper constructs the "SFAC" model of the implementation mechanism of the open innovation,which is embodied in the following aspects: the innovation situation is the "engine" of the hotel's open innovation,and the driving force provided by the engine further functions through the "steering wheel" of the hotel's strategic flexibility,so as to promote the smooth of the hotel's open innovation It is beneficial to implement,and differentforms of innovation situations and strategic flexibility will eventually lead to different open innovation models.At the same time,the organizational ambidexterity of the hotel and the organizational culture of "Internet like" are the "wheels".It is an important organizational guarantee to ensure the smooth implementation of the open innovation of the hotel.This paper is a theoretical exploration achievement.It finds the "innovation paradigm transformation" of hotel from closed innovation to open innovation,and further opens the "black box" of the model and implementation mechanism of open innovation within the micro economic organization.It makes a theoretical contribution to the further development of open innovation theory in the hotel industry and the improvement of the hotel innovation model theory.Finally,the paper puts forward management suggestions from three aspects: enterprises need to pay attention to innovation situation,cultivate "unique" ability and practice the innovation policy of "going out and bringing in".
