On June 6,2019,the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a 5G commercial license,which marked that China officially entered the first year of 5G commercial use.People’s demands for network informatization have increased,and higher standards and requirements have been proposed for telecommunications operators.With the change of the external environment,the development strategy previously launched by China Unicom Songyuan City Branch for the 4G era needs to be readjusted and improved,and a development strategy in line with the new situation must be re-formulated.In this context,this article studies the development strategy of China Unicom Songyuan Branch,analyzes and proposes the development strategy suitable for the new situation of China Unicom Songyuan Branch to stimulate the endogenous power of the company to promote its transformation,upgrade,sustainable development,and improvement it’s brand value,thus further gaining an advantageous position in market competition.Based on the theories and literature related to the company’s business strategy,firstly analyzes the current status and problems of China Unicom Songyuan City Branch.After sorting out the company’s existing strategy and implementation situation,it was found that the company had problems in business management,market competition with competitors and user groups.From the three aspects of strategy formulation,strategy implementation,and strategy guarantee,the reasons for the problems in the development of China Unicom Songyuan City Branch are found.The reasons for the problems are that it fails to comprehensively analyze the internal and external environment in which the company develops,does not closely link the company’s strategic goals with the company’s mission,and fails to update the original development strategy in a timely manner.Secondly,it analyzes the development environment of China Unicom Songyuan Branch,and uses the PEST analysis method to analyze the external environment of China Unicom Songyuan Branch,such as the country’s launch of the strategy of strengthening the country through the Internet,user requirements for quality of life is increased,Songyuan’s economic development steadily,the level of user consumption is increased,internet product innovation is rapid.Then,using the SWOT analysis method to sort out the development of China Unicom Songyuan City Branch about the advantages(high market share,product customization,excellent service),disadvantages(new technology is difficult to achieve,consumer lag,standards are difficult to unify,and terminal software is relatively scarce),opportunities(significant increase in network speed,users’ acceptance of data traffic prices is expected to increase,broad market development space in business development),threats(competitors develop new products,consumer churn).Through the application of the SWOT analysis matrix,an analysis of China Unicom Songyuan City Branch found that the company’s advantages outweigh its disadvantages and opportunities outweigh its threats.An SO strategy(enhanced strategy that relies on internal advantages and external opportunities)should be selected as the company’s development strategy.Finally,the establishment of the company’s development strategic goal is: to achieve operating results in the province to reach the middle and upper levels,to become a leader in the mobile communications industry in Songyuan.Through the design of the company’s development strategic goals,in the business system,basic business,and value-added business,the diversified strategy,low-cost strategy and differentiated strategy are selected.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the development strategy,the company should raise strategic awareness and improve the responsibility mechanism in the system;adjust the team structure and strengthen the cultivation of talents in the organization;strengthen the corporate culture management in the culture;establish a risk management mechanism.This article’s research on China Unicom Songyuan Branch enables the company to clarify the company’s strategic positioning,formulate new development strategies in line with the new situation,strengthen the cohesion and centripetal force of the enterprise,and clarify future work priorities and resource allocation needs to achieve The income of enterprises has increased steadily and the competitiveness of the industry has been improved. |
