The acceleration of the pace of economic globalization has made the competition between enterprises more severe.The enterprises must continuously strengthen the core competitiveness of human capital to acquire advantages during the fierce competition.Therefore,the enterprises need to attach great importance to the talents cultivation and construct efficient work system.In the era of values,employees have a tendency to judgments of value on all objective things,and the research on employees' work performance from the perspective of values has received increasing attention from the academic community.Traditional employees' values mostly refer to work values and professional values.However,wage hike is an important measure for organizations to motivate employees` inspiration of work.On the other hand,employees will also generate their own judgments of value,thus results in wage hike values.However,there are few research discussing the internal mechanism of wage hike values from the perspective of the way that how it affects the work efficiency,Our research starts from the social identity theory and role identity theory,and simultaneously introduces work role identity and organizational identity to build a dual intermediary theoretical model.The research adopted a questionnaire survey method and collected a total of 262 valid sample data.An empirical study was conducted to conclude:(1)the value of employees' wage hike has a positive predictive effect on job performance and peripheral performance;(2)job role identification plays an intermediary role in the relationship between employees 'wage hike values and work task performance;(3)Organizational identity plays an intermediary role in the relationship between employees' salary increase values and peripheral performance;(4)Job role identification and organizational identification through different psychological mechanisms affect the employees' wage hike values on job performance and surrounding performance.This study is the first one that embeds wage hike values into the identity model,and enriches the research on the impact of wage hike values on job role identification and organizational identification,then explores how wage hike values affects task performance and peripheral performance through different employee identifications while enriching the research of outcome variables of wage hike.Therefore,it helps companies to formulatea and operate effectively,while optimizes and adjusts compensation plans in a timely manner.It provides effective countermeasures on the way to improve employee identification and work performance of enterprise employees.
