Retail connects both production and consumption. As one of the important industry of national economy, it does not only have a direct impact on the growth of economic aggregate and optimization of industrial structure, but also directly concerns the quality of people’s life. In recent five years, with the implementation of a range of policies, such as the expansion of domestic demand and the transition of economic development patterns, and the accelerating development of service industry, retail has made great strides. In guiding production, promoting consumption and expanding employment, retail’s role is increasingly dash forward show. It has become an important and indispensable force to promote economic and social development. Therefore, this article put the retail employee’s job performance as the result of research variables, and perceived organizational support has a promoting effect to employee’s performance. Perceived organizational support can inspire employees to identity the organization, esteemed make employees with more passion and more actively work in return for the organization, thereby improving job performance.Based on social exchange, social identity and organizational identification theories, this study adopts the method combining the theoretical deduction and empirical study, explore the attribution on the level of employee job performance, and the employee’s perceived organizational support on its performance mechanism, and organizational identification is introduced as intermediary variable. Through literature research, research hypothesis are proposed, and research theoretical model is constructed. This study adopts the method of questionnaire survey to collect data, using SPSS17.0 statistical software for data analysis. We mainly use descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis and regression analysis to discuss and analyze the hypothesis and theoretical model.Through theoretical analysis and empirical study, this study mainly reaches the following conclusions:(1) Perceived organizational support has a significant positive impact on the three dimensions of job performance, i.e. task performance, interpersonal facilitation and dedication of work;(2) Perceived organizational support can positively predict organizational identification of employees;(3) Organizational identification has a significant positive influence on all the three dimensions of job performance;(4) Between perceived organizational support and job performance, organizational identification plays a partial mediation effect.Based on the research findings, constructive suggestions given by the paper for retail management as follows:(1) Research found that the retail employee perceived organizational support on the relationship of task performance is stronger than interpersonal promotion, job dedication. At the same time, the existing research shows that compared with the incentive model of human resources, health human resource practice more significant impact on employee job performance. For managers of retail organizations can, therefore, provide a competitive compensation policies, provide more job security, let employees perform the core task outside of work and so on ways to improve their task performance;(2) Research found that the retail employee organizational identification on the relationship of job dedication is stronger than interpersonal promotion. For retail industry, therefore, after to meet the needs of employees lower stage, the organization should to meet high-level staff psychological demand as much as possible. After the staff’s quality and ability to request, in addition to giving employees job rotation or promotion, to meet the requirements of the personal career development channel, as well as efforts to promote interpersonal communication between staff;(3)The retail industry is closely related to people’s life. In recent years the food safety, the height of the fake and inferior products has attracted attention. A good corporate image can bring employees a sense of pride as a member of the organization, earn their trust and recognition, and also can significantly enhance the employees to identity their organization.
