The Study Of Sustainable Development Evaluation Index System Of Town In Fuqing City

Regional sustainable development is a hot spot in the research of sustainable development. As the bridge of connecting cities and countryside, towns are of great importance. Combining with the development condition of Fuqing, based on summarizing existing sustainable development evaluation index systems of towns, this thesis constructed a scientific, quantifiable, operable sustainable development evaluation index system of town in Fuqing from the aspect of balancing economic, social, resource and environmental. The system included3first grade indicators of economic, social, and resource,10second grade indicators, and38third grade indicators, and researched their evaluation methods to evaluate the sustainable development level of the town.Based on the raw data of each indicator system in the town of Longtian, Gaoshan, and Yuxi during2007-2011, this thesis used linear dimensionless method to dimensionless processing the raw data of the town of Longtian, Gaoshan, and Yuxi during2007-2011, then get the weight of each indicator with analytic hierarchy process and Delphi method. Following, Multi-objective linear weighted function is used to calculate the Economic sustainable development index Ec, Social sustainable development index Sc, and Resources and environment sustainable development index En of the towns during those years. With these indexes, level index LI, development index DI, coordinate index CI, are designed to construct sustainable development evaluation index model of the town in Fuqing, then evaluated synthetically the development condition of the three towns during the passed5years.The results showed that:from the aspect of LI, the sustainable development level of Longtian and Yuxi were rising in the passed5years, except in the year of2009, while Gaoshan had a rising curve gradually. From the aspect of DI, the development level of Longtian was undulating. During2008-2009, it showed a significant unsustainable, while it was in the condition of sustainable in other years. Gaoshan and Yuxi were both in the condition of sustainable in the passed5years. From the aspect of CI, Longtian and Yuxi were in the condition of sustainable, except during2008-2009, while Gaoshan was always in the condition of significant sustainable.Based on the result of the sustainable development evaluation of the3towns in Fuqing, combining with experts’ advices, this thesis proposed targeted advices for the three towns, and provided a outlook of the sustainable development evaluation of towns.
