Comparative Study On The Competitiveness Of Bank Of China And China Construction Bank

In recent years,with the period of economic adjustment,financial supervision has been strengthened and financial innovation has emerged in an endless succession.Under the influence of various factors,commercial Banks are generally facing unprecedented challenges.How to control market share,maintain profit growth rate and improve market competitiveness has become an important issue for commercial Banks.More and more commercial Banks find their own gaps,make up for their deficiencies,improve their competitiveness and achieve sound and sustainable development through comparison.For example,the retail industry of China merchants bank is studied and compared by commercial Banks.This paper selects the bank of China as a case and compares it with China construction bank,which is of certain supplementary significance to the competitiveness analysis of commercial Banks.This paper first introduces the literature contents of competitiveness,and on the basis of the camel analysis method and other famous commercial bank evaluation system,establishes the commercial bank competitiveness index system used in this paper.Then it makes a specific comparison,including the introduction of the operation situation of the bank of China and the basic situation of the construction bank,and analyzes the reasons for choosing the bank of China to make a comparison with the construction bank.The paper finds out the gap between China bank and China construction bank and the existing problems by comparing the four aspects of operating efficiency,pricing power,risk control and operation management.In the last part of the paper,four Suggestions are put forward on how to improve the competitiveness of the bank of China.
