With the rapid development of e-commerce,the production and business model of the whole garment industry has changed rapidly, and people's concept of clothing consumption has also undergone a great change. The e-commerce model of clothing provides consumers with more products and services to choose from, allowing them to have unlimited shopping time and space. However, the online virtual consumption environment also makes consumers more worried about the quality of products and services provided by the platform.Under the impact of a new wave of technology such as big data and cloud computing,e-commerce apparel platforms in China and the United States have begun to fully exploit the advantages of data resources and actively make up for the shortcomings of online apparel sales by designing more experiential and interactive online shopping models.Firstly, this paper introduces the development status of apparel e-commerce in China and the United States and the main types of apparel e-commerce platform business models.By comparing the business models of the major apparel e-commerce platforms in the two countries,it is found that the apparel e-commerce platforms in the United States are more outstanding in business model innovation and have more diverse types of platforms. However,China's apparel e-commerce platforms attach too much importance to platform scale and category expansion, while products and services are not refined enough. In terms of the application of big data, this paper compares the personalized recommendation system and logistics system of major apparel ecommerce platforms in China and the United States, and finds that the recommendation system of some apparel e-commerce platforms in the United States is more novel and better than that of similar platforms in China in terms of user experience. In the application of big data in logistics,China and the United States have their own characteristics, and both have relatively leading technologies in the industry.Secondly, this paper analyzes the business models of Stitch Fix and VIPS from four aspects: value proposition, profit model, key resources and key processes, and compares the similarities and differences of these four elements.Found sales of products are given priority to with clothing, and user groups is mainly aimed at young women, but the Stitch,Fix data mainly through science and technology provide personalized custom products and services for consumers, while VIPS mainly through the period of sale promotion, provide consumers with relatively cheap brand clothing. Finally, this paper provides some new ideas for the business model innovation of China's apparel ecommerce platform from the two aspects of meeting consumer demand and improving platform service.
