| In face of the rapid development of economy in the new century,in order to adapt to the development trend of the new generation.Warehousing management has become an important part of enterprise management.The level of warehousing management is inextricably linked to the company’s development level and operating conditions.In daily operation of enterprises,they also gradually strengthen the research on warehousing management,and seek all methods to match the warehousing management and the strategic development of enterprises.Shengxin company is just a member of this army.With the improvement of its production technology level and the further recognition of its products by the market in recent years,Warehousing management of Shengxin company is also facing many new challenges.The company’s management attaches great importance to the current situation of its storage management and analyzes the increasingly prominent problems in its own storage management.Correctly face the problems in warehousing management of the company,eliminate or reduce the negative impact caused by warehousing management on the company.Based on the literature review,combined with the current market mainstream storage management methods and management tools,this paper studies and optimizes the storage management status and strategy of Shengxin company.In this paper,the actual research on the storage management of Shengxin company found that its storage management is not perfect.Specifically reflected in: the storage layout is unreasonable,the warehouse location is not scientific,the use of shelf type is more arbitrary and other issues.Unreasonable personnel allocation,uneven personnel allocation,unclear division of labor and other issues.The setting of safety stock is unreasonable,such as the mechanical blind expansion of safety stock,and the lack of upstream and downstream information in the supply chain.The management process is unreasonable the management process is too backward,and the implementation level of the process is low.The function of ERP system is single,ERP system lacks information sharing and contradicts with "the industrial Internet".There are many stagnant materials ignoring the concern of stagnant materials and not dealing with them in time.In response to the above series of problems,a targeted optimization plan was proposed: the problem of storage layout-re-planning of the major storage areas and the division of eight functional areas.Staffing issues-increase staffing,clarify job responsibilities,strengthen internal business capabilities of employees through internal and external training,etc.Safety stock issues-Adopting JIT procurement strategy,focusing on the establishment of upstream and downstream strategic cooperation relationships in the supply chain.ERP system-adding WMS system modules,expanding ERP system functions,radiating its business scope,improving ERP system data modules to achieve data sharing.The problem of sluggish materials-regularly query the inventory status of the materials,pay attention to the age status of the items,and cooperate with all departments to use the sluggish materials reasonably.Through the implementation of a series of optimization programs,Shengxin’s warehouse management system has been improved.Storage resources are more reasonable and storage turnover efficiency is higher.Shengxin Company has more market competitiveness in the face of peer companies.Shengxin’s warehousing problem has its own particularity.At the same time,when facing a series of warehousing management problems,the various optimization schemes adopted also have certain practical guidance and reference significance for other enterprises. |
