Performance management is an important method and tool for modern human resource management models.Performance appraisal is one of the important components of performance management.It is an important guarantee for improving employees' work ability and enhancing their performance.It is also an important guarantee for the positive incentive effect of performance management.The branches of the Basic People's Bank mainly fulfill the three functions of implementing the current national monetary policy,earnestly maintaining local financial stability and providing financial services.In the implementation of performance appraisal,there is still a certain degree of particularity.In recent years,the grassroots People's Bank has carried out many effective explorations in establishing and perfecting the performance appraisal management system in line with the actual work.It has achieved some results in improving internal management,formulating performance appraisal programs,strengthening positive incentive mechanisms,and establishing performance appraisal culture..However,with the deepening of the financial reform and the acceleration of the pace,the performance of the basic people's banks and the development situation they have faced have undergone significant changes.The performance appraisal management has a certain lag,which does not reflect the true and comprehensive nature of all employees.The comprehensive performance is difficult to effectively encourage employees to improve their personal work efficiency.Based on the theoretical basis of performance appraisal management at home and abroad,this paper takes the status quo of performance management of various branches of the People's Bank of China as the starting point,and seriously discusses and analyzes the current performance management understanding,performance appraisal index system content,performance appraisal method and performance appraisal results.Feedback and application,summed up to consciously form a correct performance appraisal concept,highlight the "performance" appraisal proportion,revise and improve the performance appraisal system,and change the indicator setting of the performance appraisal of the staff to enhance the initiative of the majority of cadres and workers of the grassroots people's bank.Enthusiasm,and effectively improve the quality of work.
