Since the onset of the subprime crisis,enterprises have been faced with a volatile external environment.In particular,the development of Internet technology and the continuous infiltration of artificial intelligence in various industries have also made enterprises face great technical challenges in their survival and development.To adapt to the rapidly changing market environment,enterprises need to obtain competitive advantage by constantly change and adjustment,and organizational change need not only at the macro level by top-down strategic change,and also inseparable from the micro level by employees of internal change from bottom to top,therefore,show to promote employees to initiate changes that are beneficial to the organization is very important.Leadership,as an important variable,has an important influence on employees' behaviors,and leadership also has a greater impact on employees than others.As a kind of leadership style,transformational leadership attaches importance to inspiring employees' sense of mission,guiding them to pursue higher demands for achievements,establishing a relationship of mutual trust with employees,and encouraging them to voluntarily take positive actions to achieve team goals.Therefore,it is of great significance to study transformational leadership.Previous studies showed that transformational leadership has positive prediction effect on employees' taking charge behavior,but the research on the relation between transformational leadership and employee taking charge mechanism and the boundary conditions of research remains to be explored.This study based on the theory of self-determination theory,trying to explore the mediating role of basic psychological needs between transformational leadership and taking charge and the moderating role of error management climate on the relationship between basic psychological needs and taking charge.This paper obtains 269 research samples from Beijing,Shanghai,and Shanxi through questionnaire survey.The data is analyzed by SPSS24.0,AMOS22.0 and HLM7 software,and the following conclusions are drawn: First,transformational leadership has a positive influence on employees' taking charge behavior.Second,basic psychological needs play a mediating role between transformational leadership and taking charge.Third,error management climate plays a positive moderating role between autonomy demand and competence demand of basic psychological needs and taking charge.This study verifies the positive effect of transformational leadership on employees' taking charge behavior,tests the mediating role of basic psychological needs between transformational leadership and taking charge and the moderating role of error management climate on the relationship between autonomy demand and competence demand of basic psychological needs and taking charge.It enriches the research on the influence mechanism of transformational leadership on taking charge and provides some enlightenment for the organization to motivate employees to initiate bottom-up changes.
