Impact Of Institutional Quality On Export

The main aim of the thesis is to thoroughly examine the impact of institutional quality on export performance of Pakistan,where the problem lies due to which the export performance of Pakistan is negative,whereas the importance of institutional quality is also examined.In the study there is detailed study of the institutional quality of Pakistan and the institutional policies from the history till to date has been examined.In the study dependent variable is export and independent variables are Institutional Quality(IQ),Exchange Rate(ER),Human Capital(HC),Gross Domestic Product(GDP)and Foreign Direct Investment(FDI),to analyse these variables data from the period 1984-2017 has been collected whereas dependent variable data i.e.,export data has been collected from World Development Indicators(WDI)and independent variables data i.e.,IQ,ER,HC,GDP and FDI from International Country Risk Guide(ICRG)and Auto Regressive Distributive Lag Model(ARDL)is used for the tests.The conclusion and hypothesis of the study is that results we got from the variables are significant and there is huge relation between institutional quality and export performance,in the perspective of Pakistan the institutions are weak whereas the export performance of Pakistan is weak as well.
