The relationship between transportation development and regional economic development has always been an important topic of concern for regional economists.This paper firstly combs the theory of traffic conditions and economic development.On the basis of theory,it is determined to use traffic accessibility to assess the efficiency of traffic construction and study the spatial relationship between accessibility and economic development.The domestic and foreign literatures are summarized and summarized.The concept of the concept of achievement,the method of measurement,the research angle and the two research directions of the relationship between accessibility and economic development,determine the adaptive relationship between traffic accessibility and economic development and the spatial spillover effect brought by the change of traffic accessibility.And carry out empirical research on 121 county-level administrative regions in Guangdong Province.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The factors affecting the accessibility of traffic are common;the results obtained by different measurement methods are effective,and the distribution of advantages and disadvantages within the spatial scope of traffic accessibility is similar.The traffic accessibility of the district presents a “core-periphery” circle structure,and there are obvious differences in spatial distribution;the areas with the best traffic accessibility are concentrated in the Pearl River Delta,and the worst areas are in the eastern Guangdong and northern Guangdong mountains.(2)The economic development of counties and districts in Guangdong Province is spatially relevant.The interaction between space units with similar time and space is economical,and the force decreases with the decrease of accessibility.The law of interaction time-space attenuation is verified.In the relationship between the county and the economic development in the province,the county with the traffic conditions and the development level of economic development and the degree of contribution are the majority,and the areas with double lows need the inclination of transportation investment construction.Counties with a level of accessibility that does not match the level of economic development and final contribution are more worthy of attention.(3)The 1.5-hour reachable range and the 3-hour day economic circle are of great significance to the economic agglomeration and mutual promotion.Among the important factors in the new growth and new economic geography theory on improving the level of economic development,the positive factors that are worthy of attention are human capital,fiscal and taxation behavior,industrialization and industrial agglomeration,all of which have a stable effect on the economic development of the county..The main policy implications:(1)Natural conditions are important constraints to the improvement of regional accessibility,and the traffic corridor effect is obvious.Airport and port water transport plays an important role in improving accessibility.In the future,more emphasis should be placed on building advanced traffic corridors in remote mountainous areas,encrypting other corridors,and developing water transportation and shipping according to the geographical advantages of resources.(2)The county with a relatively good coupling degree is better than the coupling degree.The future has potential for development.It is necessary to clarify the future development orientation and deepen the inter-regional linkages.Counties with a degree of coupling coordination that is relatively better than the degree of coupling should be tailored to local conditions,identify their strengths and weaknesses and opportunities,and optimize the ability to combine local industries with transportation.(3)1.5 hours reachable range and 3 hours a day The economic circle is of great significance for the spillover effect.Therefore,the integrated intercity traffic construction should be continuously deepened,and the traffic congestion situation in the urban area should be improved,and the 1.5-hour reachable range should be improved.the quality of.(4)Human capital and government behavior have important positive impacts on county economic development.It is necessary to improve the introduction of talents,provide good public services and employment conditions,and improve the quality of local labor.The government needs to improve the efficiency of policy formulation and implementation,improve the structure of fiscal revenue and expenditure,and strive to form a virtuous circle to narrow the gap and bring about sustainable development.
