Study On The Status Of Migrant Workers' Occupation And The Degree Of Urban Integration

With the rapid development of China's cities and towns,migrant workers continue to enter the city to bring abundant supply of labor.Migrant workers have made great contributions to the progress of urbanization in China,and the integration of migrant workers' cities has gradually become the most important of the new urbanization.First,the existing research of migrant workers' occupational status is resolved.Then this paper uses CitespaceIII to explain the literature of migrant workers in cities,and we make a brief evaluation.Then it introduces the research of social integration in foreign countries and introduces the theoretical basis of this paper-dual labor market theory,social integration theory,social capital theory,social distance theory and social identity theory.Finally,based on these theories and related scholars' research,we design the measurement system of migrant workers' occupational status and urban integration,and from a questionnaire.Second,we describes the occupational status of migrant workers and the degree of urban integration,and we use the Delphi method to assign the occupational status of migrant workers and the indicators of urban integration into various levels.There are results: 1.The average score of the occupational status of migrant workers has just passed,the overall career status is poor and the overall score is dumbbell type;2.The overall urban integration level of migrant workers is low,and the subjective level of urban integration is better than the objective level,but there is a polarization.Secondly,the occupational status of migrant workers and the degree of urban integration are analyzed.The status of the occupation is linked to the age,education and transfer mode of the demographic characteristics of the migrant workers.However,there is not any significant relationship between gender and career status.The degree of urban integration is linked to the educational background and migration patterns of the demographic characteristics of migrant workers,but there is no significant correlation between age,sex and urban integration.The urban integration of migrant workers is significantly related to the employment level,employment security and employment development prospects in the status qua,but it is not significantly related to the employment stability.Then the four variables in the demographic characteristics of the two logistic regression analysis are all left out of the equation,Only three variables of the employment level,the employment security and the employment development enter the equation.These three variables not only relate to the urban integration of migrant workers,but also affect the urban integration of migrant workers.Finally,the factor analysis method is used to classify the two levels of occupational status,and generalize the seven factors,such as occupational development index,occupational negative intensity index,occupational stability index,occupational safety index,occupational availability index,professional experience index and professional quality index,and establish and discuss 7 factors of career status.We build regression model of the objective,subjective and overall urban integration of rural migrant workers.the objective level of urban integration of rural migrant workers has these conclusions:1.the integration of the policy system is positively correlated with occupational availability index,professional experience index significant;economic integration is positively correlated with career development index,occupational negative intensity index,occupational safety index,occupational experience index,job is positive correlation.The community integration is positively correlated with occupational development index,occupational negative intensity index and occupational safety index;And social integration is positively correlated with occupational development index,occupational negative intensity index,occupational safety index,occupational availability index,psychological culture integration is positively correlated with occupational development index,Occupational safety index,occupational availability index and occupational quality index.2.The subjective level of urban integration of migrant workers has these results:The integration of policy system and occupational development index,occupational negative intensity index and occupational safety index is significant positive correlation;economic integration has no significant correlation with occupational stability index,and has significant correlation with other six factors;community integration and occupational development index,occupational negative intensity index.There is a significant correlation between occupational stability index and professional experience index;social relationship is significantly positively correlated with occupational development index,occupational availability index and occupational quality index,and psychological culture is closely related to occupational availability index,occupational experience index and occupational quality index.3.overall,the objective level of urban integration is compared with the subjective level of urban integration,and the objective level of urban integration is not significantly correlated with the occupational stability,andthe overall level of urban integration is significantly positively correlated with the seven factors.Third,combined with the results of the analysis,we put forward countermeasures and suggestions.First,we should expand the employment channels of migrant workers,and increase the opportunities for migrant workers to obtain work in the regular market,and improve the integration of migrant workers' policy system.Secondly,we should carry out the vocational training of migrant workers,and improve the employment quality of migrant workers and the prospects for employment development,and improve the economy of migrant workers.And then we should enhance the social interaction function of migrant workers,and improve their social network quality,and promote the social relations and the degree of social integration of migrant workers.Finally we should guarantee the employment security of migrant workers,and enhance the sense of migrant workers' professional identity,and enhance the
