It's the general rule of modernization in all the countries in the world for surplus rural labors to move to non-agricultural industries, the "agricultural economy society" to transform into the "industrial economy society" and the agricultural civilization to turn into the industrial civilization. Since the reform and opening-up, surplus rural labors have been transmigrating to cities on a large scale and in a rapid manner. By the end of 2009, there had been 229.78 million migrant workers in the whole country. Although rural emigrants work in every area of cities and have been contributing greatly to the economic growth of the cities, they are being wrapped in the state of marginalization for the factors of systems and out of systems, seriously affecting the successful development of Industrialization & Urbanization in our country. In recent years, the Chinese scholars have been paying attention to the integration of migrant workers into city life and made much detail study on it in several aspects, having obtained the plenteous achievements in the field.First, the paper makes a thorough review of research on the theory of the integration of migrant workers into city life at both home and abroad, and then makes a study on current status in Beijing from three aspects(economic, social and psychotic) by empirical analysis and comparison analysis. Based on the former studies, the main influencing factors affecting the integration of migrant workers into city life are analyzed. At last, it puts forward some systematic and out- of-systematic proposals to give a boost to the integration of migrant workers into city life.
