Research On The Impact Of OFDI On Technology Innovation Ability Of Chinese Enterprises Based On Heterogeneity Theory

After experiencing rapid growth,China’s OFDI growth has gradually slowed down and is currently in a critical strategic adjustment period.As the main body of the innovation-driven development strategy,the enterprise gives full play to the role of OFDI in promoting the technological innovation capability of the home country enterprises,which not only meets the needs of the enterprises themselves but also conforms to the trend of national innovation and development.Firstly,through combing the international investment theory and relevant research at home and abroad,it summarizes the influence mechanism of OFDI on the technological innovation capability of enterprises,and analyzes the influence mechanism of enterprise heterogeneity and host country heterogeneity on the relationship between OFDI and the technological innovation capability of Chinese enterprises.Secondly,it analyzes the status quo of China’s OFDI and enterprise technology innovation,establishes the enterprise production model,and obtains the estimation equation of enterprise productivity and cost addition rate.Thirdly,the panel data of China’s enterprise level from 2000 to 2013 will be collated and measured,and the productivity and markup rate indicators for measuring the technological innovation capability of enterprises will be measured.Next,the PSM-DID model is used to verify the role of OFDI in promoting the technological innovation capability of enterprises,and to study whether the heterogeneity of enterprises and the heterogeneity of host countries affect the promotion of OFDI on the technological innovation capability of Chinese enterprises.The results show that,on the one hand,the heterogeneity of enterprises affects the promotion of OFDI on the technological innovation capability of enterprises.Non-public economic holding companies,low-and medium-tech enterprises,enterprises in the eastern region,and enterprises with higher productivity have a more significant role in promoting technological innovation in OFDI.On the other hand,host country heterogeneity only affects OFDI.The promotion of the cost-increasing rate of enterprises,but there is no significant difference in the promotion of corporate productivity.Among them,the cultural distance and economic level of the host country have increased the contribution of OFDI to the markup rate of enterprises,and the influence of the difference in development potential of the host country is not significant.
