Each operating entity in the economic society is a member of the supply chain network. The operation of the supply chain network is directly related to the development of the market entity, and will also have a major impact on the development of the entire economic society. It is essential to ensure the stable operation of the supply chain network. With the increasing complexity of the network structure, the impact of some disasters in nature,technology,man-made or finance will lead to the failure of supply chain nodes, resulting in the destruction of the supply chain network structure and the loss of node functions, which in turn leads to the supply chain. There is a huge economic loss in the interruption of network operations, and these damages are difficult to recover or even impossible to recover. However, the current cascading failure of the supply chain network is mainly based on the stability study of the traditional complex network topology, and the economic problems in the network operation are less considered. Therefore,it is urgent to establish a simulation model that effectively characterizes the failure characteristics of the supply chain network and proposes a set of countermeasures that can improve the stability of the supply chain network.Aiming at the characteristics of multi-stage and multi-level of supply chain network, the same stage and cross-stage cascade failure model is proposed, which combines the economic characteristics such as node importance and flow loss to simulate and analyze.Eventually,it provides a new idea for improving the stability of the supply chain network, and provides a theoretical reference for the cascading failure research in the logistics field.Considering the similar characteristics of nodes in the general network of logistics, this paper analyzes the components, network structure and flow direction of logistics network, and studies the evaluation method of load distribution mechanism, node importance and network stability in line with the characteristics of logistics network. The model of two failure scenarios of single node failure and two node failure is constructed by using the express network as an example. The multi-stage nature of the supply chain network and the unity of the node flow are different from those of the logistics network.Based on this, this paperextends the research to the failure of the supply chain network cascade. This paper first establishes the same-stage cascade failure model of the group-type enterprise supply chain network, and then establishes a cross-stage failure model, taking the dairy supply chain as an example. From the perspective of the two economic characteristics of node importance and traffic loss, the effects of the failed nodes on the same-stage nodes and the upstream and downstream nodes are analyzed.Focus on the optimization and testing of the three network types, and conduct sensitivity analysis around key parameters.Through research, the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The recovery capability of the network under single node failure is much higher than that of the two-node failure. That is,when multiple nodes fail, the network causes more damage and requires more resources to recover.(2)Increasing the load capacity of all nodes in the network or the nodes connected to the key nodes can reduce the node importance and improve the stability of the network topology.(3)For real-world supply chain networks, the measurement of the importance of complex network nodes is not sufficient to describe the importance of supply chain nodes due to flow loss and economic benefits.
