Study On The Effect Of Agricultural Insurance On Increasing Farmers' Income In Yunnan Province

The Strategic Plan for Rural Revitalization(2018-2022)pointed out that agricultural development should not only focus on developing major agricultural production areas nationwide,but at the same time,all localities should base on their own geographical environment and agricultural resources,actively play their unique advantages,and create regional characteristics and Specialized production of agricultural industry promotes the development of agricultural modernization,which provides policy support for the development of plateau agriculture in Yunnan Province.As one of the "three cards" of Yunnan's current development strategy,Yunnan Plateau's characteristic agriculture plays an important role in promoting agricultural production and raising farmers' income,thereby helping the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.It is also an important measure to implement the "Village Revitalization Strategy" 1.However,due to the special geographical location,complicated climate,and frequent meteorological disasters in Yunnan Province,it has seriously affected the level of agricultural output and the income level of farmers,and brought huge adverse impacts on agricultural and rural development.From 2004 to 2020,the State issued the "Central No.1 Document" for 17 consecutive years,all of which mentioned the importance of agricultural insurance for the development of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,and emphasized the need to constantly improve the specific implementation measures of agricultural insurance.In the current decisive stage of winning the battle of poverty alleviation,agricultural insurance plays an important role in stabilizing poverty alleviation achievements,so studying the impact of the implementation of agricultural insurance on the increase in farmers 'income is conducive to better using agricultural insurance to stabilize farmers' production and operation,and escorting the overall construction of a well-off society.This article mainly uses the theory of welfare economics and the theory of restoration of agricultural reproduction.Through the literature research method,field research method and empirical research method,the agricultural insurance development level,industrial structure,and industrial structure of 16 cities in Yunnan Province from 2008 to 2017 are collected.Empirical analysis of the impact of urbanization rate and other relevant data on the impact of Yunnan agricultural insurance on farmers 'income increase shows that both the pre-disaster effect and the post-disaster effect have a negative impact on farmers' income increase in the short term,but in the long run See,the impact of both is a positive conclusion.Therefore,according to the direction and degree of impact,it is proposed to use agricultural insurance in Yunnan Province to better promote farmers' income.The main contents of this article include: first,introduce the research background and significance of this article,relevant research trends and literature reviews at home and abroad,research innovations and deficiencies,etc.,and explain the importance and rationality of the topic selection;second,introduction and agriculture Theoretical foundations related to insurance and farmers 'income increase,including welfare economics theory,the theory of resumption of agricultural reproduction,etc.;third,summarize and analyze the current agricultural development situation and farmers' income situation in Yunnan Province;fourth,analyze the current situation and development of agricultural insurance development in Yunnan Province Problems,and based on the analysis of the mechanism between agricultural insurance and farmers' income increase to explain the respective causes of the pre-disaster effect and post-disaster effect,so as to put forward the hypothesis of this paper;It has a significant negative impact,and the post-disaster effect has a significant positive impact.In general,agricultural insurance has a significant positive effect on increasing farmers' income,but the effect is relatively small.Finally,according to the conclusions of the study,some suggestions are put forward to increase the promotion effect of agricultural insurance in Yunnan Province on the increase of farmers' income.First of all,it is necessary to give play to the overall role of government departments,improve the system related to agricultural insurance,establish an agricultural disaster risk prevention mechanism,and implement differentiated premium subsidies;second,insurance companies should comprehensively improve their own security service levels and use technology to improve service quality.To improve the agricultural insurance industry chain;Finally,we must increase farmers' risk awareness and effective demand for agricultural insurance.
