An Empirical Analysis Of The Influence Of Agricultural Insurance Depth On Farmers’ Income

The report of the 20th Party Congress proposed to accelerate the building of a strong agricultural country.As the primary industry,agriculture has laid a solid foundation for the development and progress of China’s national economy and is of great importance.Since the ancient times,agriculture has been a "weather-dependent" industry,and its development has been affected by temperature,precipitation and geological disasters,which is not conducive to increasing farmers’ income and building a strong agricultural country.The emergence of agricultural insurance is a good way to alleviate the threat of these factors to the stability of farmers’ income,and by providing risk protection to farmers,it can give them a "peace of mind" and a "strong heart",thus helping them to achieve the goal of increasing their income.At this stage,promoting the modernization of agriculture and improving the income and stability of farmers are increasingly becoming the right thing to do to promote the development of agriculture and rural areas in Shandong Province,and agricultural insurance should be given due attention in order to further promote the income of farmers.Against the above background,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to continuously promote the development of agricultural insurance and analyze how to boost farmers’ income,which is of great significance to the development of Shandong Province’s economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,and is a key link and the way to go for the opening year of the 20 th National Congress.The study of the ways and mechanisms of the role of the level of agricultural mechanization,and its strength and direction in the process of agricultural insurance to increase income,is conducive to providing relevant basis for the formulation and implementation of relevant policies.In this paper,under the perspective of agricultural insurance promoting farmers’ income,relevant data from 2012 to 2021 in Shandong province were collected and compiled,and the income increasing effect of agricultural insurance and the moderating effect of agricultural mechanization were analyzed by fixed-effects model,and the results showed that the increase of agricultural insurance depth could significantly increase farmers’ income level,and agricultural mechanization played a positive moderating role in this process,i.e.,the agricultural The higher the degree of mechanization,the more the increase in the depth of agricultural insurance can significantly increase the income level of farmers,thus verifying hypotheses one and two of this paper.By summarizing the previous analysis and research,the core conclusions of this paper are:(1)agricultural insurance can significantly increase farmers’ income level;(2)after exploring the specific situation in Shandong Province,this paper finds that agricultural mechanization plays a positive moderating role in the process of agricultural insurance to increase farmers’ income level,which indicates that the increase of agricultural mechanization level is beneficial to agricultural insurance to promote farmers’ income,i.e.The paper finds that agricultural mechanization can significantly amplify the income-raising effect of agricultural insurance.Accordingly,this paper proposes several policy inspirations: first,to continuously improve the level of agricultural mechanization;second,to classify and implement policies according to the level of agricultural mechanization to amplify the income increasing effect of agricultural insurance;third,to increase the government’s policy support for agricultural insurance;fourth,to strengthen the propaganda and popularization of science to farmers;fifth,to enhance the innovation capacity and service capacity of insurance companies.So as to give fuller play to the amplifying effect of agricultural mechanization on the effect of agricultural insurance,help agricultural production to improve quality and increase quantity,consolidate the results of poverty eradication,and promote the farmers’ group to achieve income growth and prosperity.
