Circulation industry,as the central nervous system connecting consumption and production, guides manufacturers to carry out supply-side reforms, while stimulating consumer demand.During the epidemic,e-commerce and physical retail stores faced severe challenges.Due to road blockade, insufficient supply of effective demand from consumers, problems such as unsalable circulation of commodities, surge in costs, and low efficiency are becoming more and more obvious, which seriously hinders the function of "drainage channels" and "water diversion channels" in circulation. With the "blowout" development of domestic transportation infrastructure,it brings new growth opportunities for the economic development of cities along the route, provides a new focus for the rise of the circulation industry in the central and western regions, and finds a new way for the improvement of circulation efficiency. Therefore,by studying the impact of transportation infrastructure on China's circulation efficiency, what is the specific impact mechanism? And does the former have a nonlinear effect on the latter? This is of great significance for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of China's circulation industry. This article first introduces the connotation of transportation infrastructure and circulation efficiency, sorts out relevant literature and theories at home and abroad, explores the influence mechanism between the two,and lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent empirical research.Secondly, this paper analyzes the development status of transportation infrastructure from the aspects of mileage and density of operation, investment in fixed assets, and carrying capacity. The entropy method is used to measure the circulation efficiency of 30 provinces and cities in China, and the coefficient of variation method and the Moran index are used. The regional development gap and spatial effect of China's circulation efficiency were measured. As a result,it was found that the efficiency of China's circulation showed a trend of decreasing first, rising last, and decreasing, and there was a clear difference in the circulation efficiency of East and West.At the same time, space competition and spillover existed, and space spillover was greater than competition. Then, using China's 30 provinces and cities from 2008 to 2017 as samples, construct a mediation effect model and a panel threshold model, and use static panels to verify the direct and indirect effects of transportation infrastructure on China's circulation efficiency, and the transportation infrastructure on circulation efficiency Whether there are non-linear effects. The results show that:(1)The transportation infrastructure has a significant direct effect on the circulation efficiency. From both the national and regional perspectives, transportation infrastructure has a positive impact on circulation efficiency, that is,transportation infrastructure can achieve circulation efficiency by reducing costs, expanding market size, improving information asymmetry, and increasing the efficiency of factor allocation.Promotion.(2)While transportation infrastructure has a direct effect on circulation efficiency,it also indirectly affects circulation efficiency through human capital. From a national perspective, the intermediary effect of human capital is positive, while the intermediary effect of human capital in the east, middle, and west is negative, but the cause of the problem is different. The eastern part because of the beneficial effect of human capital promotes the loss of human capital in the circulation industry, thereby suppress In order to improve the efficiency of circulation, the central and western regions have hindered the accumulation of human capital in the region because of transportation infrastructure, resulting in the outflow of human capital.(3)The transportation infrastructure has a non-linear influence on the circulation efficiency. With human capital as the threshold variable, there is a double threshold effect in the country, which is negative but not significant in the early stage, positive in the later stage, and the effect gradually increases. There is a single threshold effect in the central and western regions. With the improvement of human capital, the impact of transportation infrastructure on circulation efficiency increases. Finally, based on the empirical results, the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of China's circulation industry are put forward.
