Research On The Influence Of Circulation Efficiency On Upgrading Of Consumption Structure In Western Areas Of China

With the implementation of the strategy of western development and the deepening of the "one belt and one way" initiative,the western region's economy has achieved rapid development,and both the circulation industry and the consumption structure have undergone fundamental changes.Under the influence of Internet technology,there is a closer relationship between the efficient development of the circulation industry and the upgrading of consumption structure.The circulation industry fully realizes the effective communication between production and consumption,which plays an important role in promoting the improvement of production efficiency and guiding the upgrading of consumption.At the same time,the production of diversified consumption demand also accelerates the innovation,transformation and development of the circulation industry.For the western region,In the current critical period of consumption transformation and upgrading,while actively ensuring effective supply,we should not neglect the effective connection between the supply side and the consumer side,and the role of circulation industry as an important link between the two is self-evident.Therefore,the circulation efficiency which reflects the efficient development of modern circulation industry is the key to promote consumption upgrading.Under the background of "Internet plus" and supply side structural reform,we should actively and effectively enhance the circulation efficiency to meet diversified consumer demand,ensure effective convergence between supply side and consumption,and promote consumption structure upgrading,promote sustainable and effective development of circulation industry,form a good cycle,and have important practical significance for the realization of people's better life.On the basis of combing domestic and foreign literature,this paper first defines the concepts of circulation efficiency and consumption structure upgrading,analyzes the influence mechanism of circulation efficiency promoting consumption structure upgrading in combination with relevant theories of circulation efficiency and consumption structure upgrading,and lays a scientific basis for the construction of the following theoretical model.Secondly,the paper analyzes the current situation,regional differences and existing problems of the circulation industry and consumption structure upgrading in the western region,and constructs the circulation efficiency measurement index system,using the global principal component analysis method to measure the circulation efficiency in the western region.Based on the above analysis,this paper constructs the common panel regression model and the spatial panel regression model of the western region's circulation efficiency on the upgrading of consumption structure,in order to explore the influence of the western region's circulation efficiency on the upgrading of consumption structure and the spatial spillover effect.Finally,the external environmental factors,such as the government's support,the degree of opening up and the level of economic development,are incorporated into the model to explore the external factors Under the influence of environment,what are the different effects of circulation efficiency on the upgrading of consumption structure.The results show that:(1)the circulation efficiency in the western region is increasing year by year,and there are obvious differences among different regions.Sichuan,Guangxi,Chongqing,Shaanxi and other regions have higher circulation efficiency,while Qinghai,Gansu and other regions have lower circulation efficiency,showing the characteristics of unbalanced and inadequate development of circulation industry.(2)The improvement of circulation efficiency in the western region not only effectively promotes the upgrading and optimization of consumption structure in the region,but also brings some positive promotion to the neighboring areas.However,we cannot ignore that the circulation efficiency in the western region still has a long way to improve the promotion effect of consumption structure upgrading.In the future development process,we will continue to improve infrastructure construction,retail outlets full coverage and promotion The transformation and upgrading of the circulation industry that is affected by the "Internet +" is an important focus.At the same time,it is necessary to speed up regional coordinated development,and integrate with the central and eastern regions faster.(3)The promotion of circulation efficiency in the western region has a non-linear threshold effect on the promotion of the upgrading of the consumption structure of urban residents,that is,the influence of circulation efficiency on the upgrading of the consumption structure is affected by the external environment constraints,and the promotion of circulation efficiency on the upgrading of the consumption structure of urban residents shows a positive U-shaped change trend with the increasing degree of opening to the outside world The promotion effect of circulation efficiency on the upgrading of urban structure show a downward trend.In order to further promote the development of the circulation industry and the upgrading level of the consumption structure in the western region,the paper puts forward some suggestions that are suitable for the development of the western region in combination with the actual development of the circulation efficiency level and the consumption structure in the western region.They are: to promote the supply side structural reform of the circulation industry,to promote the innovation,transformation and development of the circulation industry;to actively promote "Internet + circulation",to enhance the coordinated development and efficiency level of the circulation industry;to optimize the consumption structure upgrading policy system,to promote the optimization of the consumption structure;to promote the coordinated and balanced development of the regional circulation industry;to optimize the environmental constraints for the development of the circulation industry.
