Research On Poverty Alleviation Of Characteristic Agricultural Industry In Datong City,Shanxi Province

Poverty is an important problem that can not be ignored in the process of economic and social development.It is also an important factor that affects the national economic development and social stability.To achieve sustained and stable poverty alleviation of the rural poor mainly depends on the prosperity of rural industries.For the poor areas,due to the constraints of social economy,geographical location and production conditions,the degree of agricultural industrialization is low,and it is difficult for farmers to get rid of poverty and become rich through the development of non-agricultural employment and conventional agriculture.Based on the advantages of regional resources and factor endowments,developing characteristic agricultural industry is the practical choice for the prosperity of industries in poverty-stricken areas and the realization of accurate poverty alleviation.Datong City,as one of the 14 contiguous poverty-stricken areas,not only has rich ecological natural resources,but also has the characteristics of old,little,border and poor.Therefore,how to rely on the development of characteristic agricultural industry to help farmers get rid of poverty and become rich has important theoretical significance and practical value for the realization of regional overall poverty alleviation.Although in recent years,Datong has made some achievements in the development of characteristic agricultural industry,a large number of characteristic agricultural products,such as animal husbandry,miscellaneous grains,vegetables,yellow flowers,Astragalus membranaceus,have gone to the whole country and the world.However,in general,the development of Datong’s characteristic agricultural industry is not sufficient,and the effect of poverty alleviation is not obvious.In view of this,this paper first describes the relevant concepts and theoretical basis.Secondly,starting from the current situation of the rural poor population and the advantages of the development of characteristic agriculture in Datong City,this paper analyzes the current situation of the development of the characteristic agriculture industry in Datong City,and analyzes the poverty alleviation mode and effect of the characteristic agriculture industry in Datong City.Finally,through the analysis of the problems existing in the poverty alleviation of Datong’s characteristic agricultural industry,the paper puts forward the long-term mechanism of the poverty alleviation of characteristic agricultural industry,and puts forward feasible policy suggestions.
