Research On The Impact Of Innovation Drive On Upgrading Industrial Structure In Guangxi

Innovation is the eternal motive force of economic development.Since the reform and opening up,economic development of Guangxi has achieved a good momentum of development,and the industrial structure has been further optimized.But compared with the developed provinces in China,there are still some disadvantages in Guangxi,such as too high proportion of the first industry,insufficient innovation ability and weak industrial competitiveness.In this paper,it researches the impact of innovation driven on the industrial structure upgrading in Guangxi Province,proposes the practical measures to promote the industrial structure upgrading with innovation driven,which has great theoretical and practical significance for promoting the economic development of Guangxi Province in the future.Through sorting out the literature on innovation driven,industrial structure upgrading,and the relationship between them at home and abroad;to define the concept of innovation driven and industrial structure,and analyze the innovation theory and industrial upgrading theory;then analyze the intrinsic mechanism of innovation-driven industrial upgrading from innovation investment,innovation production,innovation environment and innovation influence,thus laying a solid theoretical foundation for this paper.Then,it analyzes the status quo of innovation driven and industrial structure in Guangxi Autonomous Region.By constructing the innovation-driven evaluation index system,and using the entropy method to analyze and sort the innovation driven capabilities of China's major Autonomous Regions,cities and autonomous regions in 2016.It can be seen that,the innovation driven capacity of Guangxi Autonomous Region is still in the middle and lower position,but there is still a big promotion comparing its own innovation driven vertically.When analyzing the status quo of industrial structure in Guangxi Autonomous Region,we found that although the industrial structure has a tendency to shift to the "three-two-one” structure,the primary industry still has relatively high proportion,and the tertiary industry has relatively low proportion.The employment structure of the three major industries is not very reasonable so it indicates that it still needs to further optimize and upgrade the industrial structure in Guangxi Autonomous Region.Next,it applies the Grey Correlation Analysis to analyze the grey relational degree of innovation-driven and industrial structure-related data in Guangxi Autonomous Region from 2010 to 2016.It finds that there is a relatively high relationship between each indicator of innovation-driven and upgrading of industrial structure,further confirming that the innovation driven can positively affect the upgrading of the industrial structure from the perspective of empirical research.Based on empirical research results,and in order to improve the innovation driven capacity in Guangxi Autonomous Region and promote the further optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure,it is necessary to improve the ability of scientific and technological innovation,increase the investment in innovation resources,both including the increase of funds for scientific research,and including the construction of scientific research and innovative talents.It must emphasize on the industrialization of innovation while strengthening scientific and technological innovation.It also should emphasize the formation of a good environment for innovation,encourage each innovative subject to exert its subjective initiative,and form a new situation of “public innovation”,so as to lay a good foundation for innovationdriven development and promote the upgrading of industrial structure in Guangxi Autonomous Region.Finally,it summarizes the whole point of view,points out the inadequacies of this paper and the research prospects.
