With the profound changes in the internal and external operating environment,the profitability of China's urban commercial banks is facing unprecedented challenges.Among them,due to the mature business model,fierce competition in the industry,and the obvious impact of economic cycles on pillar industries,it is becoming increasingly difficult for city commercial banks to make greater breakthroughs;while due to its huge development potential,the retail business has become a key business in the research,exploration and practice of various city commercial banks in recent years.Especially with the continuous improvement of the wealth level of residents,the scale of retail business has also continued to expand,and city commercial banks have put forward ideas for retail strategic transformation based on their own actual conditions.Among them,the concept of "Big Retail" is constantly being proposed and regarded as an important direction for future retail business transformation."Big Retail" is not a collection of retail business in a narrow sense,but a customer-centric,integrated service system formed by reorganizing the existing resources of the bank,which includes not only traditional retail business,but also other related businesses,and even the supporting system related to these businesses.This article selects JS Bank as the research object.From the perspective of strategic management,it analyzes the development status,existing problems,and internal and external environment of JS Bank,and then introduces the importance and necessity of JS Bank's retail strategic transformation.Then this article uses SWOT analysis to summarize the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of JS Bank,and puts forward the combination strategy and main strategic options.On this basis,from the perspective of "Big Retail" strategy,this article puts forward the future strategic planning and specific measures of JS Bank,aiming to provide some suggestions for JS Bank to become stronger and bigger and make special features.It will also provide useful help for other city commercial banks of the same type in strategic planning.
