As an important part of the company's financial management,working capital management is closely related to the company's value creation and the realization of financial goals.With the rapid development of information technology,the combination of new concepts such as big data and financial sharing and enterprise management theory has pushed the theory and practice of working capital management to a higher level,making working capital management shift from the focus on single factors to the overall grasp of the supply,production and marketing process.This provides a new way of thinking for retail companies,which are in a critical period of transformation and are struggling with rising procurement,logistics,sales and financing costs.Therefore,how to maintain efficient working capital turnover,so that the retail enterprises smooth through the transition period has become a realistic problem to be discussed.This paper takes literature research,case study and comparative analysis as the main research methods,and selects Yonghui Superstores,a representative supermarket in the retail industry,as the research object to study the management status of its working capital.This paper summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad,combing the evaluation system of working capital management.Based on the theory of working capital management and channel management,this paper analyzes the performance of working capital management of Yonghui Superstores by using the performance evaluation system of working capital management based on channel,and compares it with Tianhong stock.It is found that there are some problems in the working capital management of purchasing and marketing channels in Yonghui Superstores.The main problems of working capital management in Yonghui Superstores are as follows: in purchasing channels,the turnover period of accounts payable is short.In the marketing channel,the turnover period of accounts receivable increases rapidly;the turnover period of finished goods inventory is too long.These problems affect the improvement of working capital management performance of Yonghui Superstores.Therefore,this paper summarizes the enlightenment and suggestions of Yonghui Superstores case for the whole retail industry in working capital management,in order to solve the problems existing in various channels that affect working capital management performance.This paper holds that the retailenterprises should change the purchasing system,integrate the upstream supply chain,improve the qualification of suppliers,and realize the common development of zero supply.In the marketing channel,retail enterprises should strengthen the management of accounts receivable,reduce the risk,improve the efficiency,improve the level of inventory management,and speed up the turnover rate of inventory.Through the analysis and Research on the working capital management of Yonghui supermarket,this paper puts forward the optimization scheme and safeguard measures,which have certain application value to improve the working capital management performance of Yonghui supermarket,and also can provide reference for other companies in the same industry to improve the working capital management performance.
