The Study On The Quality Measurement And Spatial-temporal Evolution Of The Development Of New Urbanization In Western China

Since reform and opening-up,the level of urbanization in China has improved dramatically,which to a certain extent shows that our country complies with the tide of the development of the times and meets the internal requirements of the changes of the times.Urbanization development is not only the objective need of social and economic development,but also an important indicator to measure the overall development of social economy.However,one of the consequences of the rapid development of China's urbanization is the blind pursuit of the scale of urbanization development,forming a situation of continuous improvement of China's urbanization level and insufficient urbanization quality.Therefore,in 2014,China put forward the new urbanization of "people-oriented",aiming to solve the problem of "quantity" but "quality" in the process of urbanization development in China,setting a general tone for the development of urbanization in China,and keeping a watchful eye on the improvement of urbanization quality while accelerating the development speed of urbanization.Now Chinese economy has already entered a phase of high-quality development,also social development has entered a new era.The construction of new urbanization is an important part of high-quality development,an inevitable trend and practical needs of the new era,and has become a new growth pole leading economic development.In this context,the development of new urbanization and urban-rural integration has gradually evolved into the focus of regional research,and the research on new urbanization will be the breakthrough point and breakthrough of urban-rural integration development research,which is of great significance in accelerating the process of regional integration development.Based on it,this paper takes 12 provinces and cities in the western region of China as the research object,deeply explores the quality and spatial evolution of the development of new-type cities and towns in the western region,in order to lay a foundation for the integrated development of the western region and the formation of the western metropolitan area on the basis of measuring the quality of urbanization in the western region.Based on a careful study of the classic literature at home and abroad,combined with the relevant theories of new-type urbanization development,and on the basis of clarifying the connotation of new-type urbanization theory,this study starts from the typical characteristics of new-type urbanization development in the western region,This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of the new urbanization in the western region,and provides theoretical support and practical basis for the quality measurement and further development of the new urbanization in the western region.In addition,this study elaborates the internal relationship between new-type cities and regional integration development from the perspective of five development concepts,condenses the evaluation index system of new-type urbanization development quality in Western China into five aspects of people's livelihood co-construction,opening up and win-win,coordination and progress,innovation and co-construction,and green environmental protection,and uses the relevant numbers of new-type urbanization development in 12 provinces and cities in Western China from 2008 to 2017.According to the method of entropy,the scores and comprehensive scores of each province and urban area in each dimension are calculated and sorted,and then the quality scores and temporal-spatial evolution rules of urbanization development of each province and urban area in the western region are obtained.It is found that the quality of new urbanization development in the western regions is quite different,and the five development dimensions of each province and city are unbalanced,and there is a trend of spatial agglomeration in geographical location,with obvious regional distribution characteristics.This study analyzes the development of new urbanization in the western region in many aspects,introduces the current situation of the development of new urbanization in the western region,measures the construction principles and ideas of the evaluation index system of the development quality of new urbanization,and puts forward the path to promote the development of new urbanization in the western region,which can not only promote the development of new urbanization in the western region and the integration of urban and rural areas.It also has certain reference value and significance for the development of new towns and regional integration in China.
