Research On The Coordinated Development Path Of Characteristic Agriculture And Rural Tourism In Wanzhou District

It is well known that agriculture is the basic industry of the national economy in China.Rural tourism has become an important one of the ways to realize rural revitalization.It has proved that the development of organic food and green food based characteristic agriculture and rural tourism with idyllic scenery can not only increase the income of farmers,but also help to solve the employment of surplus rural labor force.It is highly consistent with the rural revitalization strategy and gives an important direction of agricultural development in China.The research object in this study is the characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district which is located in the hinterland of the three gorges reservoir area.Based on the foundation of Wanzhou district,it deeply researches the coordinated development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism present situation in Wanzhou district in order to find a way where the governments can combine characteristic agriculture with rural tourism well.The main aim is to find out the successful experience and the shortage to put forward some reasonable suggestions for the coordinated development of high quality.The main research contents include the research progress of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism,concept definition and theoretical basis,the present situation and problems of the coordinated development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district,the case study on the coordinated development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district and the countermeasures for the coordinated development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district.It is found that the governments at all levels in Wanzhou district have given strong support to the development of featured agriculture and rural tourism and have made certain achievements by strengthening infrastructure construction and providing opportunities of development in recent years.However,the characteristic agriculture and rural tourism development in Wanzhou district is still in the primary stage due to the weak foundation of agricultural development.The following are the main reasons.Firstly,the policy system is not sound and the villages and towns can't exploit theirpotentialities adequately.During the period of the 13 th Five Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China,the agriculture in Wanzhou district is still faced with many difficulties.For example,the original mechanism system do not adapt with the requirements of the new situation,the deeply rooted problems restricting agricultural development have to be resolved and promoting agricultural development and the continuous increase in rural incomes of long-term mechanism has not yet formed.Secondly,they are short of professional skills and proper management.The characteristic of agricultural production and rural tourism in China started too late to develop specialized management idea.What's more,mostly local farmers depending on their experience are engaged in the characteristics of agricultural production and rural tourism management without professional training and high level of service.Therefore,the management coordination between different departments can be strengthen.Thirdly,the range of products is not various but the homogenization phenomenon is serious.Some farmers in rural areas just sell goods instead of digging the characteristic resources of products so that they get half results with twice the effort at last.Fourthly,there are some differences in the improvement of brand value.People's awareness of featured agricultural products is not high.So it is necessary to strengthen publicity and popularization.Fifthly,there is a lack of innovation in the business model of the characteristic agriculture and rural tourism.For example,the Internet has the most obvious publicity effect on rural tourism and characteristic agriculture,which has the characteristics of diverse forms,fast transmission speed and wide influence range.However,the utilization efficiency needs to be further improved.According to the current situation of the development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district,this study combining with the research data can provide the following suggestions for promoting the coordinated development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district.Firstly,the government should give more support in policy and exploit potentialities of the development of towns.Secondly,the development of characteristic agriculture industry should be coordinated with the construction of industrial system.Thirdly,the marketing mode offeatured agricultural products should be coordinated with the brand operation.Fourthly,the production process of featured agricultural products should be coordinated with rural tourism experience.Fifthly,the enterprises should innovate cooperative management mode of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism.Under the background of vigorously promoting the construction of agriculture,rural areas and farmers and accelerating the construction of new countryside and rural revitalization in China,this research has certain guiding significance for the coordinated development of characteristic agriculture and rural tourism in Wanzhou district.
