According to the decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on winning the battle against poverty,by 2020,all the poor people in rural areas will be lifted out of poverty,the regional overall poverty will be solved.In order to win the battle of poverty alleviation and achieve the established goal of poverty alleviation,the people's Government of Sichuan Province issued the 13 th five-year plan for poverty alleviation of Sichuan Province on December 29,2016.According to the plan,poverty alleviation through rural tourism should be carried out and rural tourism should be vigorously developed,and the leading role of tourism industry and tourism development in poverty alleviation and income increase should be given.Based on the theory of tourism multiplier,the "Five-point Strategy" and the "New Development Conception",this paper analyzed the performance of tourism poverty alleviation in the Tibetan area of Sichuan through AHP,qualitative and quantitative methods,network and field research.The results show that:(1)Pro-poor tourism is an effective measure to get rid of poverty;(2)The development of pro-poor tourism needs policy support;(3)The social effects of pro-poor tourism is not enough;(4)The result of pro-poor tourism is limited by the development of cultural resources;(5)"Ecology + Poverty alleviation" is a measure to stimulate the potential of pro-poor tourism.Based on these,in order to promote the further development of pro-poor tourism in Tibetan areas of Sichuan,the research suggests that(1)Continue to promote the strategy of pro-poor tourism,and get through the traffic arteries in this area;(2)Increase policy encouragement and activate special funds for poverty alleviation;(3)Consolidate the achievements of propoor tourism and improve the social efficiency of tourism industry;(4)Implement the strategy of "Internet + Tourism" to promote the tourism brand in Tibetan areas;(5)Adhere to the strategy of "Ecological + Tourism" to realize the sustainable development of Tibetan tourism.
