The Formation And Resolution Of Rural Collective Debt

Up till now,the problem of village collective debt in China has been very serious.Because of many historical and practical factors,many village-level collectives have accumulated large amounts of collective debt.A large number of rural collective debt has seriously hampered the benign operation of the village collectives and the development of the village collective economy.Some village organizations are even on the verge of collapse.Because of the debt problem,the new rural construction has also been delayed.The village-level debt has become a "stumbling block" to the current new rural construction.Rural collective debt is a problem that has gradually emerged in the road of rural economic and social development in China.Therefore,solving this problem effectively and quickly has a very important significance for accelerating the development of the rural economy,safeguarding the stability of the rural society and even the long-term stability of the entire society.This article mainly discusses systematically from five aspects.The first part is the introduction part.It mainly analyzes the background and significance of this topic,literature review,research methods and technical routes,innovations and deficiencies,laying a foundation for the following research.The second part mainly explains the characteristics of village-level organizations,village-level debt and debt,principal-agent theory and public goods theory.This part defines the village level and village-level debt,and summarizes the current situation of rural collective debt and the characteristics of rural collective debt in China firstly,then it introduces the relevant theories of rural collective debt resolution,namely,the principal-agent theory and the public goods theory.The third part analyzes the status and characteristics of the village collective debt.The fourth part discusses the reasons for the formation of village collective debt,and analyzes the consequences of village-level debt.The fifth part proposes the countermeasures and the results obtained.
