Research On The Development Status And Countermeasures Of Rural Characteristic Towns

In recent years,rural characteristic towns have spread fastly and a variety of characteristic towns have emerged throughout the country.Zhejiang as the earliest birthplace is taking a leading position in Chinese characteristic towns.Wenzhou is one of the three major cities in Zhejiang Province,which couldn't reach a prominent level in the part.Currently,there are 7 characteristic towns under construction in Yueqing City,however,there are only 2 characteristic towns that have been listed in the list of provincial-level characteristic towns,the other 5 not planned to apply characteristic towns.And among them,the town of Dendrobium Candidum has its unique characteristic which could reach the standard and reflects the spirit of "agricultural creation".The "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" mentions that nowadays there are some difficulties and contradictions about agricultural and rural development in China including the arduous task of structural reform of the agricultural supply side in Chinese agricultural and rural development,agricultural resources and environmental issues beening increasingly prominent,the slowdown in economic development which has led to limited growth in fiscal "three rural" investment and the outstanding situation of urban-rural dual structure.The emergence of characteristic towns not only conforms to the trend of Chinese economic development,to a certain extent,it alleviated the above difficulties and contradictions.The town of Dendrobium Candidum in Yueqing City with the aim of building a tourist attraction for health preservation,promoting the construction of Dendrobium Candidum industrial cluster,encouraging the development of the integration of the first,second and third generations in rual area,focusing on building a healthy land and a beautiful countryside,which not only meets the requirements of the state for agricultural modernization,but also consistents with the policy orientation of Zhejiang's characteristic towns.It is of great significance to the transformation and upgrading of Dendrobium Candidum industry in Zhejiang Province and the development of intangible culture and the economic development of the old district of Yueqing Mountain.With the boom of health peservation,people are paying more attention to Dendrobium.This paper selects the town of Dendrobium Candidum as the analysis object,firstly,the development status of Dendrobium Candidum is studied from three aspects:location transportation,resource environment and project construction to research the current status of Dendrobium Candidum industry in terms of scale,planting,processing and sales.Then,the two provincial-level characteristic towns—Xingqing Smart Electric Town and Yueqing Power Technology Town were selected as comparative analysis samples,using SWOT analysis to analyze advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the development of Dendrobium Candidum Town in Yueqing City.Accordingly it can point to the construction of the town of Dendrobium Candidum in Yueqing City:early creation and solid industrial foundation,disadvantage of poor industrial structure and weak talent attraction,opportunities for strong government support and adequate industrial and commercial capital,and the threat of different investment progress and uneven development level of enterprises.Finally,the following three principles should be adhered to in the development of characteristic towns in YueQing City:first,adhere to clear industry and gradually improve supporting facilities;Second,adhere to overall planning and common development;the third is to insist on government guidance and market leadership.
