Blockchain technology has received widespread attention since its inception.After more than ten years of development,it has initially formed an international competitive situation.In today's world economic integration,countries play together.Only by knowing the development status of blockchain technology and recognizing the advantages and disadvantages of China and other countries,can we formulate corresponding policies and strategies to promote the healthy and orderly development of blockchain technology to enhance China's comprehensive strength.Therefore,an intelligence analysis of the development status of global blockchain technology can have a reference value for the further development of China's blockchain technology.This article takes the patent literature of blockchain technology as the research object,and obtains data on global blockchain patents for ten years from 2010 to 2019 based on the Derwent Innovation Index,and uses bibliometric methods and thematic model method to explore the current status of the development of blockchain technology in China and the world from the two aspects of patent digital attributes and text attributes.Among them,the bibliometric method has been used to obtain competitive intelligence such as the annual application volume in various countries,technology life cycle,patentee,IPC classification,and the quality of blockchain patents.The quality evaluation index of the average number of cited patents has been improved.The concept of the average number of high-quality patent citations is proposed to make the quality analysis results more reasonable and reliable.Thematic model method uses the LDA model to identify the research hotspots of global blockchain technology,ranks the research intensity in the top ten as hot topics,and further get the trend of the research intensity of each hot topic over the past ten years.The research results show that the global blockchain technology is in a period of rapid development.Most of its technology applications focus on the two fields of physics and electricity,and have not yet been deeply integrated with other fields.China ranks first in the number of blockchain patents,far exceeding the United States and South Korea.However,compared with developed countries,the quality of China's blockchain patents is not satisfactory.China still lags far behind the US and South Korea.Currently,the hot research topics of this technology are mainly information generation,distributed computing systems,consensus mechanisms,data storage,system modules,electronic voting,cryptography,network communication,smart contracts,identity authentication,etc.In these topics,the research intensity of data storage,electronic voting and smart contracts has the trend of further growth.The research intensity of information generation,system modules and identity authentication is declining.Distributed computing systems,consensus mechanisms,cryptography-related and network communication are still in a stable state.In order to promote the further development of China's blockchain technology,this article puts forward reasonable suggestions at the national level and the enterprise level based on the above research conclusions.At the national level,it is necessary to strengthen the research and development of blockchain and form technological innovation advantages,promote the application of blockchain and the development of industrialization,improve the quality of blockchain patents and attach great importance to the overseas layout of patents.At the enterprise level,we must strengthen the use of information and enhance the sense of competition,keep up with technological hotspots and maintain development vitality,attach importance to alliances and strengthen cooperative research.
