Patent Text Analysis And Application Research Based On Topic Model

Patent is the most important carrier of technical information.Technical topic analysis based on patent data is important content of patent intelligence analysis.With the awareness of protection for intellectual property,there is a explosive growth in number of patents in patent database.A large amount of technical knowledge and intelligence information is stored in massive patent text.In recent years,text mining based on free text in patents for technical topic analysis has become research hotspot.Analysis of technical topic distributions enables people to understand technical hotspots and technical trends.It means a lot to technical monitoring and planning.As the representative of third-generation biofuels,microalgae biofuels help to alleviate the energy crisis.Due to high production cost,microalgae biofuel has not yet been produced in large scale.Technologies related to it need be optimized.China's research on microalgae biofuels locate in the forefront of the world.Foreign manufacturers' patent layout work has also begun in the field of microalgae biofuels,therefore,it is necessary to conduct technical topic analysis of microalgae biofuel,getting insight into the history and trends of technology and providing support for national or corporate decision making.Firstly,the study uses topic model to analyze the DWPI abstract of microalgae biofuel patents,exploring the technical topics hidden in abstract.During the process,we get patent-topics distributions and topic-words distributions.The result shows that the characteristic word of the topic is "aggregation" of related terms related to microalgae biofuel technology,according to which we are able to label topics.Secondly,combining the results of technical topic analysis and patent citation,the patent development map of microalgae biofuel is constructed,which provides us a comprehensive understanding of technology about microalgae biofuelFinally,patents are assigned to different sections of value chain according to their distributions over topics.We analyze patents separately locating in different place of value chain,from the perspective of the value chain,considering national distribution of patents,the main R & D mechanism,technical development trends and IPC.Analysis mentioned above provides an understanding of the industrialization of microalgae biofuel.
