| The present study aims to investigate if the voluntary recyclers would be a potential market for public transportation. A questionnaire which was designed based on the theory of planned behavior was used as the survey instrument in this study. By conducting a questionnaire survey among the current bus riders, the voluntary recyclers and the general public, it is found that the voluntary recyclers do have more positive attitude toward public transportation and stronger intention to ride public transportation than the general public. The findings of present study would help to explore the possible public transportation riders for public transportation operators. |
